All of this is sad, just get to work, get the people onto the message, and move on, this is some little kid shyt

What's crazy is everyone can respond on who did what first, but when its about politics, its only a few people actually listening, and talking. People in general are full of shyt, but if you're black, how can you engage in all of this, knowing where it will lead?

I just want a separation from these people, they were around before me, i seen them do this shyt when I was young, and they are doing it again, under the guise of "being for the people. "...

Look how Tariq keeps downplaying "the data", when it is the data that forces people to take us serious, not any moral reasoning! You truly think we will get reparations because people hear the horror stories that happened?

Don’t know and don’t care about Tone’s comments :hubie:

I’m more interested in doing real work(contacting local politicians about a black agenda, getting involved w/ “black” groups like the NAACP) now then following whatever squabbles Yvette; Tone, or any other thought leader has. :hubie:

This is where I'm at.

I'd really like to ask, tho, who followed Yvette and Tone and didn't know this was a political exercise? How did Tariq think he was gon get tangibles without politics? Bc i watched and i didn't hear no black economics talk. In fact, he low key came for his peoples Jay Morrison.

Why did he call it tangibles2020? Why reference am election year if you ain't political? I'm just confused and i asked before and no one will answer.

Tbh, tho, i don't even care at this point. I'm not interested in a cultural movement, I'm good on that. I'm here strictly for the politics. Yvette and Tone got us this far, so I'll stick with them for now. That could change at anytime bc I'm following an ideology, not a leader.

What's crazy is everyone can respond on who did what first, but when its about politics, its only a few people actually listening, and talking. People in general are full of shyt, but if you're black, how can you engage in all of this, knowing where it will lead? I truly believe this "black empowerment" is just entertainment for some, a way to hate white people, and money making for others. I grew up going to lectures, African festivals, and having pride, in the late 80's. Stop being a part of it because of all the frauds. Got back into it around 2009, only to find the same thing. I learn about Yvette & Tone, almost three years ago, got me believing that something might actually happen for us, only for fighting to happen. AND, it started by the same person who started talking about "being on code"!

I guess I'm losing hope again, because even though i truly believe in ADOS as a movement, I know there are WAY more people who wouldn't mind stopping it, just to get their own thing going. People who don't want us to get our just due have no problem finding agents in this era, and what's wild is the people would have no idea they are agents, because they are full of hate anyway, and don't mind bring shyt to a halt.

I just want a separation from these people, they were around before me, i seen them do this shyt when I was young, and they are doing it again, under the guise of "being for the people". Their hate killed everything good we had going. Whether it was neighborhoods, our arts, or the way we are viewed in society, these people just shyt on everything that was about to lift us up as a people. I could go on & on, but i know older people know what I'm talking about. Why do you think Hip Hop turned into some street shyt, these same people put down the rappers with lyical skills, and deep thinking, to have the kids laugh at that now, and its all about dumb nikka shyt. Even our plays aint the same anymore, I remember you had Tyler Perry type plays, but you also had more upscale type plays, but what happened? These same people would shyt on them and say it aint black enough, and those people are bougie. I remember girls wanting to do Ballet, only for the hip hop or African dancing to be seen as better, and "black". We have to find a way to separate from these energy draining people! They just want things to be a certain way, and if it isn't, it aint '"for the people", or "you think you're better". Look how Tariq keeps downplaying "the data", when it is the data that forces people to take us serious, not any moral reasoning! You truly think we will get reparations because people hear the horror stories that happened?

Damnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn :wow:

Its always the crabs that break up unity and use their social power to downplay anything that requires discipline or skill to help us as a people. Like How they cursed at Nas because he was "too preachy and lyrical" while propping up superficial rappers showing off jewelry.

Or how they use black pride as a way to shyt on other progressive blacks that don't do things on their rigid paradigm.

Same thing with the reparations movement. World War Woke (according to @Nicole0416 ) broke out and everyone from the ADOS/FBA organizations went to war against each other, almost destroying the credibility of the Reparations movement as a whole to black folk that would have been down for it.

Thanks for unlocking the HR 40 thread @Barnett114 but this right here is why it should be moved back too.

Tariq and his coven don’t even care about all the momentum we’ve created thus far, they just care about trying to bury and discredit Tone/Yvette. What are they doing that’s so nefarious that you feel the need to tank a reparations movement.

Tone and Yvette supported HR 40 until N'COBRA brought it to the House floor without them, and ever since they and their followers have dismissed the bill. That shyt was 20+ years in the making, why didn't yall say something about them trying to tank THAT? :leostare:

The bill was empty. I’ll actually give credit to Jason Black because he’s always on the upswing. He was the first voice in new black media to actually take a look at the bill. It was a mere a study, basically an empty gesture: yeah, you’re owed reparations...moving right along. It was Tone and Yvette that suggested we revise and expand on hr40 because it was bare bones. Breaking brown listeners are already hip to this, surface level Tariq gobblers take everything at face value without unpacking. Just like that stupid ass tweet. Oooh, Tariq tryyyna poke the Democrats...
Person who understands politics: uh, no, look at the optics. Opportunity zones are a trick bag. Maybe that wasn’t the best statement to tweet in reference to that

Your timeline is a bit off. Between those events, Jason Black did a masterful breakdown of the bill that took it from 'eh, we'll see where this goes' to 'Oh shyt, this is outright nefarious.' Certainly changed my opinion and id already looked over the bill myself.
