The bill was empty. I’ll actually give credit to Jason Black because he’s always on the upswing. He was the first voice in new black media to actually take a look at the bill. It was a mere a study, basically an empty gesture: yeah, you’re owed reparations...moving right along. It was Tone and Yvette that suggested we revise and expand on hr40 because it was bare bones. Breaking brown listeners are already hip to this, surface level Tariq gobblers take everything at face value without unpacking. Just like that stupid ass tweet. Oooh, Tariq tryyyna poke the Democrats...
Person who understands politics: uh, no, look at the optics. Opportunity zones are a trick bag. Maybe that wasn’t the best statement to tweet in reference to that

You got me fukked up if you think I'm some Tariq fan breh :gucci: As *I* understand, the bill is to study how much is owed, similar to reparations given to the Japanese, etc... You know that way we aren't shortchanged with some bullshyt like Marianne Williamson who "feels" $200-500 billion is a number everyone can agree with.

Regardless, the point is they had PASSING the bill, as it is, as part of their agenda and left it up there for months while they talked down on the bill... supposedly they looked into the bill and "realized" it's trash. And these are the people 'doing the work'/telling everyone else they don't know enough :dead:
Your timeline is a bit off. Between those events, Jason Black did a masterful breakdown of the bill that took it from 'eh, we'll see where this goes' to 'Oh shyt, this is outright nefarious.' Certainly changed my opinion and id already looked over the bill myself.

Now mind you :usure: #ADOS recently started beefing with N'COBRA on the premise that they're old (You don't even have a twitter!), don't matter, and haven't done anything.-- Yet one of the bulletpoints on their agenda is to pass the bill they helped revise and get submitted to Congress :patrice:

[SNIPPED]

I won't add them but The Black Authority and Tariq Nasheed have also turned on H.R.40. I just wanna know... Wtf happened? :dame: Seems like some shadiness and deceitful tactics going on.

These were my thoughts at the time of the thread and they still are now: Yvette and Tone didn't pay N'COBRA any mind until a stream where Yvette was tryna tell a caller no one else out there is pushing for reparations, but the caller name dropped them, and Yvette turned silent... fast forward a week or so later and suddenly they're acknowledging them, but for not 'doing anything' and KNOWING they had a hand in the lastest revision of the bill, they had no choice (in their minds) but to abandon it... Now the bill needs to be rewritten-- With Yvette and Tone in the room :sas2:

Ncobra should have never been in the room in the first place, for a good bill or a bad bill. They are ineffective butter biscuit negroes who i never heard of until Yvette and Tone got the ball rolling, and i was raised in pan africanist circles, went to mad meetings as kid, etc.

But since you're advocating for them, where do they get their funding? :jbhmm:

Tone just need to stop replying to Tariq’s because I can see this escalating with them being in the same city. Cuss words and personal insults are already involved, I just hope there’s a way to salvage this. To at least get everyone back on code. But Papa Tariq’s ego is off the charts. I bet Peanut can’t take a piss without getting his permission first
Smh, dude don't want THAT SMOKE

First of all, "They're ineffective" would've sufficed. I'll never understand how anyone pro-black could let this kinda shyt roll off their tongue so effortlessly :picard:

Second, when you say you never heard of N'COBRA.... This ain't the same way Tone 'never heard of' Norris Shelton/DAS only to diss them, is it? :patrice:

I support HR 40... and for them to be a bunch of 'do-nothings', they sure did find a way to be among those who bring a hearing for it for the first time in 20+ years. While Yvette and Tone were on YouTube, and Twitter, acting like getting it passed was never on THEIR agenda :leostare: but like I say, it's never a good thing if they aren't a part of it :sas2:

This is where I'm at.

I'd really like to ask, tho, who followed Yvette and Tone and didn't know this was a political exercise? How did Tariq think he was gon get tangibles without politics? Bc i watched and i didn't hear no black economics talk. In fact, he low key came for his peoples Jay Morrison.

Why did he call it tangibles2020? Why reference am election year if you ain't political? I'm just confused and i asked before and no one will answer.

Tbh, tho, i don't even care at this point. I'm not interested in a cultural movement, I'm good on that. I'm here strictly for the politics. Yvette and Tone got us this far, so I'll stick with them for now. That could change at anytime bc I'm following an ideology, not a leader.

Did you not know Tariq was full of shyt before these recent incidents?

Enjoy supporting Tariq's addition to his house.

Thank you ,, enjoy adding an addition to Jeff bezos house every time you purchase something off amazon but wait a sec, it’s only a problem when you enrich a black man.

this is the kind of mentality I want to stop out of the black community and this is what I hope to discuss with like minded people at the FBA conference.

Compare buying a product from amazon that you’re going to actually use to buying a pipe dream from Tariq that won’t benefit you in anyway brehs
