Brady's phone was never subject to evidence so it's a red herring. Brady told the NFL that he was not giving them his phone months ago, and Wells was cool with it because he had no right to it. They asked him again and Tom was honest and was like "I destroyed that shyt anyway." Otherwise, I have no idea where you are getting your facts from aside from NFL talking points which their own footnotes undermine consistently. You're playing that "I'm just saying but I'm not a lawyer shyt and I'm taking sides while clearly taking a side" shyt. You sit here and ignore the fact that Brady and his attorneys went to the phone companies and tried to recover his old texts but could not because the records were gone. You literally are trying to implicate a dude not based on an actual act because science and the NFL's procedure dismiss that, but based on the fact that he just so happened to have one old phone lying around. The fact that you even tried to analyze that is ridiculous in and of itself. The NFL procedure is not a legal proceeding, and you cannot punish someone for not giving you something after not affording them notice of the fact that they will be liable if they do so. Brady was never informed that non-compliance with giving his phone, something the NFLPA bargained for in the CBA is somehow going to make him liable. If Brady goes up there and just lies and says, "I got it but I'm not giving it to you," this is not a story because it could not be used. That's how foolish that point is.
haha breh you seriously arguing with VMR? that guy is the dumbest fakkit on this site. he legit thought I was lastemperor's alias for a good 2 months. Only response you should be giving that low IQ seattle fan is this one:

League files in New York...

NFLPA files in Minnesota...

Court in Minnesota tells the NFLPA the case will be heard in New York...

NFLPA now has to file again in New York...

Judge tells both parties they better figure it out "and tone down their rhetoric"

I wonder who he was talking to :lolbron:

Slim to no chance the NFL loses this one...

Goodell doesn't want to deal with another Ray Rice loss in the courts...The legal team made sure they have enough to win a legal battle or else Goodell would have rescinded the 4 games...Thats why he took so long with the announcement...

They have plenty of evidence to prove at the very least Brady knowingly conspired and obstructed the investigation...

The NFLPA lawsuit also got moved to NY today which is an enormous win for Goodell already...

and that's all he needs as this is an "integrity of the game" issue which Goodell has full autonomy to rule on. The players are trying to sue due to the "process" but because of the issue, things don't look good for them. This again isn't a players behavior off the field issue that DOES fall under the CBA.

I will agree with the Pats crew in the fact that if I'm Brady, I wouldn't have given up the phone either as it could set a dangerous precedent. But this isn't an off the field issue. If Goodell wanted my phone due to an off the field issue, he can suck my dikk. But him destroying the phone in relation to an integrity of the game issue, Goodell has full rights to :camby: Brady. The NFL will win this case since it would screw other leagues over in cases where you are dealing with the direct integrity of the game. The whole reason commissioners have this power is because of the Black Sox Scandal in MLB.

If this was an off the field issue, Brady would def win, but it's not.

Just so we can finally put to rest the notion that their was going to be discovery when this hit the courts.

The two sides have also agreed that “no discovery is needed to adjudicate the motions, which will be based on the arbitration record.”

NFL, NFLPA also agreed, and asked the judge to expedite the case.

Gabe Feldman of Tulane Law School reports that the two sides have asked Judge Richard Berman for an expedited schedule that would lead to a final resolution of the case, subject to appeal, before the start of the 2015 season. They propose a timeline that would have motions filed by August 7 and replied to by August 14 with the oral arguments and decision to follow in short order.

NFLPA running with this ruse of "we want it handled quickly" cause they know it was no fukking way they were getting an injunction after the judge basically told both parties to not even bring this shyt into a courtroom huh...

So the NFLPA has to go back to the table with the NFL...after it had been revealed that they were already at the table trying to strike a deal with NFL...and the NFL told them to kick rocks and upheld Brady's 4 games...

But somehow Tom Brady is going to win this case :yeah ok:
