i don't get why this dude just didn't give the cop the drink. and after the cop handcuffed him he could've checked the drink and let him go.
the system cannot let him get off free at this point. the system has to make an example out of him so no anyone after him thinks twice.

back in the gangsta rap days i pulled something like this and when the cop appeared out of nowhere i just gave him my drink (in a brown bag). he let me go. dude came at me so fast i told him he gotta be thirsty to have a sip.

If you were minding your business and drinking orange juice and a complete stranger walked up to you and inquired about your drink how would you react? The cop never identified himself as a police officer nor was there a badge visible.

What would you guys do in his situation?

I had something similar happen to me one night. I was taking pictures of Bethal Baptist Church that was converted into a park. It was pretty unique so I came out at night time to check it out. Some guy that lived right next to the park came out and started asking me question about what I was doing there. He got very hostile and honestly because of the Trayvon Martin verdict I ceded and I explained to him what I was doing, he wouldn't buy and asked me to leave. I refused and I said I'm going to stay and take more pictures. I was polite about it and I guess he didn't view me as a threat.

Honestly I wish I handle the situation differently. I should have refused to answer his question or show him the pictures. I wanted to get hostile and get angry but I know he could get away with shooting my brown ass, especially in Texas. Honestly I should have not moved and just call 911 and report a hostile person approaching me at a park. I handle the situation like a little b*tch and I should have stood up more for my civil rights.

If you had owned a gun the situation would have played out differently. He would probably back off.

Everywhere...You never there.
I don't see it on the decline economicly anymore than any other city but your right tho

I'm not saying that it is either...it just feels that way to me. If you aren't military, hospital or higher Ed., it just feels like you're done for.

Horrible city aesthetics, too. Feels like it should be so much more popping there, and there's only this veil of an active city.

It's so flat, the culture clash, the strip malls... and the history of Fayetteville and how it got to be called FayetteNam... :snoop:

And it always feels like something is about pop off there to me. Something big.

really, most of far, Eastern NC has this feeling of despair, IMO.

Great description!

Not to mention the laws that run this state are atrocious...

1st Round Playoff Exits
the officer never showed his badge. He should have struck him with an open palm. I think that there is some kind of way that those guys could have beat that officer physically and gotten off. Its their video, there are no other police around or cop cars to have a video. He never showed his badge and the guy was in the right. If he was more clever with his questioning, he could have created a situation where when the police man put his hands on him he could reciprocate the violent gesture and have evidence to prove that he had doubt about this mans legitimacy as a law enforcement officer. But then again, even if the officer said he wasnt an officer, slapped him and then after he got hit back, pulled out a badge, this man would still in the wrong somehow.
