I would have loved to see this movie in the theaters...But man..I have to much hate in my heart to go see anything M. Night made. This is the same son of a bytch who tried to destroy Avatar the Last Airbender. White washed the shyt out of it. I'll be getting this from my local bootleger when he gets the barbershop. LOL

Tried to destroy? He did destroy it..lol The Avatar has a huge following( Heck I still watch it from time to time and I've seen every esp multiple times ). If the movie was done right we should be on Book 3 by now.... But nooo.

Also whatever success the movie may have had, you can't credit him with it. The movie would of done 'OK' no matter who directed it.

Will and Shyamalan fukked up by putting so much of the weight of this film on Jaden's shoulders. Little dude is not nearly a charismatic enough actor to be the focus of a film where damn near 80% of the time he is onscreen alone.

The theater i went to was pretty packed w/. black n whites. I went at 10am and was about to leave because i couldnt find a seat at first.

edit: There was a guy a couple seats down that was snoring so hard. and nobody next to him was trying to wake him up. lol. He damn near ruin the movie until somebody a few seats in front of him woke him up.

M. Night has this unique ability to suck the life out all the actors that star in his movies. I mean this worked well on a movie about 'dead people' like Sixth Sense but its just horrible for movies that demand a pulse like The Last Airbender.

Speaking of which I will never forgive that fakkit for making that trash ...and whoever is thinking of letting him make a sequel for TLA needs to be shot.

I saw it last night it definitely needed more action it kind of dragged in certain spots. It wasn't as bad as some people are saying though. Would of been better if Will's character wasn't hurt and he would helped his son's character in the movie physically. I'll give it 6.5 if I had to rate it.

it was about Jaden facing his fears and becoming a man on his own. Will was with him the whole time. I think people expected Will to be his usual self and kill a few animals or some shyt but the movie was about him hand Jaden coping with the loss of Zoe and Jaden becoming a ghost almost like Will did.

I think producers and studios have forced fed the masses cgi, explosions, love interest angles and action action action so much that they can't keep their attention with simple morality flicks with minimum action.
