A few "negative words" is a lot more than you and the squad have been doing in this topic.

We are not the same.

:mjlol:
You right, we not, because no sane person would be ok with getting a 33 percent increase for nothing and then turn around and try to clown on folks that got a 50% percent one, but with actual improvements.

:picard: this level of delusion.
Want me to come back and quote these posts when you pay $80 for Wolverine :usure:

Here you are playing and/or being very interested in $280 worth of day one gamepass games in between E33 and Silksong.

$40

$50

$30

$20

$70

$30

$40

And that’s without even talking about discounts or games that aren’t “day one” :wow:

Even at the increased Price gamepass would have already saved you lots of money this year if you didn’t have a Cult to influence :wow:

dayum.. it is what it is. not exactly the best deal in gaming anymore, but it’s hard to argue with what you’re getting for the price. it was basically a steal before. for me, it’s like the price of Spotify going up, or Disney+. if you’re going to introduce us to such a great price, when u raise it I’m naturally going to look elsewhere, or just leave.

combine this with the prices of everything Xbox being a little too high in general, and I’m basically working my way out of the ecosystem. I only sub to Gamepass for a month at a time now. I got PSPlus for now and when that goes up past $20 it’s getting canned as well. you can’t do these low intro prices and then expect everyone to stick around. I guess they’re hoping that library will keep enough people in.

pay 30$ to play Ninja Gaiden for a month. Or pay 70 to play Ghosts of Yotei whenever I want...

Except yall aren't doing just one or the other. You are both buying games and subscribing to services similar to Game Pass.

The point is you guys clearly don't have an issue with subscription services when its a Sony one, to where you'll even pay for a worse one.

Just like most things when it comes to gaming.

You don't own the games you buy digitally either. Any of those games can be delisted and unavailable unless you bought the game physically. Worse case scenario you buy the games you played on gamepass when they're on sale. You get to play the game along with a number of other games without having to pay for all of them full price for $30. A number of people never play a game they have beaten again. This is simply a digital version of a rental service, a service a good amount of gamers have used at some point. Obviously there are pros and cons, yet someone who chooses to use gamepass knows this already. This is not any different than these type of services for tv shows and other entertainment that you don't own. You could choose to buy a physical copy, yet you stream them on services such as netflix for the convenience along with access to other shows while paying a set amount.
My games on Steam "might" disappear tomorrow. I know FOR SURE once I stop paying for gamepass they will disappear. No difference right?
