The point is you guys clearly don't have an issue with subscription services when its a Sony one, to where you'll even pay for a worse one.

Never did I say they are the same. Gamepass was compared to streaming services such as netflix in that post. The only way to own a game is to pirate the game or buy the game physically. Buying the game digitally, there is a possibility of not being able to play the game at some point. Gamepass is a rental service. You get to play a number of different games for a single price, rather than paying for all of those games full price. That could not appeal to you yet could appeal to someone else. That's the point. As I stated before, there are pros and cons and someone using gamepass knows this.

Game Pass Ultimate has doubled in price in about 2 years. Anybody defending that has to be insane. It was a good value back then. Doubling in price is not a good value.
