Who knows what kind of upbringing he had, but I seriously doubt he had to join a gang out of necessity.
I don't think he can make three rounds on the same caliber of his 1st round. Where have you seen a performance from ANYONE where they just went outer space for all three rounds? It just doesn't happen.
The problem is that he makes his strongest round his first round. So now his 2nd & 3rd round could be solid, but in comparison to his first, it's looked at as a significant drop off. If he made his best round his 3rd round, he can give you the impression that he's heating up as the battle goes on as opposed to cooling off as the battle goes on.
People have comes to look forward to his first rounds. Hitman has a formula that works for him. Regardless if he wins or loses, people still want to see him. If he actually wants to win battles though, he needs reevaluate his approach.

Hitman went retarded first round, Surf cooked the first half of his second round, Hitman didn't come with much. Third round Surf came with the best verse I've ever heard from him, Holla tried to rap but the crowd wasn't having it. Came too light, NBA bars weren't going to work after what Surf said.
