I could be wrong but i'm startin to think Hitman said dat ratchets/rackets shyt on purpose, like he was mockin Surf and makin fun of his reachin ways.

After watching this a few more times, Surf clearly got this. As I said before, based on the twitter reports, I was expecting Surf's 3rd to be on par with Verb's 3rd but the more I listened to it, the more I just wanted to hear Verb's.

Hitman's a victim of his own success. His firsts are so good that the only way to go is down. He needs to either reorder his rounds or scatter his heavy haymakers throughout all 3 rounds. Surf has always been a pillar of consistency with his rounds (don't come at me, it's just my opinion).

The crowd dampened my enjoyment for that battle as well. No one's saying we need a quiet room feel but people should react accordingly to haymakers then promptly shut up and let them rap.

I got the same outcome as in the building. I fukk with surfs last two more than any of his recent rounds post conceited battle but his first though it had some good lines, had mad reaches and the holla luyah bar is overated. hitman first round on cam isnt close to as good as in the building, he didnt say much and showout was too involved but i still give him the round, but for instance his first vs con is much better to me.

hitman has two reach hall of fame bars in this battle lol, surf took a slept on shot at lux which was dope

surf and hitman similiar in that both their records aint really shyt but they been in a lot of good or classic battles and get mad views but hitman gotta be worse hes under .500 I think I got Surf at like a little over 500

You missing the point. Hitman portrays this image of being a G, but it doesn't match up based off his home structure. Surf is saying he's not portraying an image, the way he grew up (broken home) it forced him to make these decisions. While Hitman probably joined a gang to be cool, even though he didn't need to.

The angle works because of Hitman's image and how he tries to come off like a gangsta. If Hitman's image was like a funny nikka it wouldn't work.

Dudes really didn't like this battle? All that filth we got @ NOME IV this shyt was a welcomed surprise. Surf left the building in his 3rd.

Im noticing its mainly the same idiots who were going at surf for that jalapeno bar. then the battle drops and surf killed it...so instead of taking the L and being like damn I was wrong about surf this battle, nikkas just want to say the whole battle was trash to save face.

I just scroll past their posts for the most part cuz I know what it is.

Just watched the battle.

Kind of an underwhelming battle in my opinion. Hitmans first round, wasn't really that special outside of his performance. His bars were basic as hell. Surf was cool but could've been better. I had it 1-1 going into the 3rd. Which the 3rd round was up for grabs. I did not like the angle Surf took in the 3rd. It was a contrast comparison in upbringings. I would've taken a different approach all together but that's just my opinion. And Hitmans bars in the 3rd was so inconsistent I had to give it to Surf by default. So 2-1 surf.

Overall the battle didn't live up to the hype and no replay value for me.
