Israel is an American colony. Nobody else fukks with that country and its aggression. The UN has been on record criticizing their behavior and recognizes the Israeli kibbutz as illegal settlements. You're literally living through the "manifest destiny" stage of a colony. The only one seriously backing Israel is America because that's where we send our weapons and its our gateway into the Middle East to collect that oil and land to use for developments.
They're the equivalent of the original 13 colonies that America started as. They will expand until they've annexed at least one other country. There's fear around Iran getting nuclear weapons because that will be a firm roadblock. A person with a pistol can pistol whip and threaten everyone in the room. Until someone else shows up with a gun of their own.
The two most obvious choices for them to expand to are Syria and Lebanon. If Pakistan (nuclear power) says "We've sent special defensive equipment to our allies in Lebanon and Syria" the entire vibe will shift because now they don't know if that "special equipment" includes nuclear warheads.
