They don't have to threaten to not play though and with that you run the risk of fracturing the team which would then factures the message. Also Tom Herman and staff support them 100% and he likely wouldn't be able to do that if they were threatening not to play. So this results in the team being unified in it's approach and in the end they are going to get what they want. So going full on revolt was not going to be the right play.

I’m in classes now but stayed in the Dallas area. Really considered applying to UT Law after I finish but I may just finish up at UTA and apply for law school at SMU. Starting to like it a bit too much to want to move at the beginning of the fall semester.

If you haven't noticed, Gen Z has lapped Millennials. If you're in the latter like myself, we really have no standing to criticize how these kids are moving. They are pushing the needle much more than we did. We wasted our youth on brain dead hip hop and trying to fit into a decadent materialistic culture (obviously there are exceptions but you get what I'm saying).
