oh that's right. I forgot you were still living in that fantasy-land where Timbaland aint hip hop or one of the most influential hip hop producers ever
Hav doesn't have a Big Pimpin. and while Timb doesn't have an Infamous, Timb didn't fall off like a muhfukka after 98/99
Timb was a huge contributor to Jay-Z's career, gave Jay-Z hip hop classics, and last time I checked, Jay-Z got money stacks bigger than them little fux.
I respect Havoc and think he's one of the most underrated Hip Hop producers ever. I can't agree that he fell off after '99. That's when he kind of took off. He started showing people he could do more than just the sound he'd established with Mobb Deep. Jada's "Why" doesn't even sound like Havoc.
With Timbaland, I feel like he's slighted in Hip Hop. He's definitely one of the most influential producers in Hip Hop. From Stevie J saying Timbaland's production inspired him to create "Notorious Thugs" to Kanye getting Tim to program drums on "Good Life" and "Stronger". It's crazy because Tim's given several rappers their comeback record (Fabolous, Lil' Kim). There was a point where rappers weren't releasing albums without a Timbaland beat and those joints were anticipated. And yeah, he definitely gave Jay some classic records ("nikka What, nikka Who", "Come And Get Me", "Dirt Off Your Shoulders", "Big Pimpin").
