Vacation: Japan or Italy?

I heard Italians are racist AF.
Very good for the most part. Seafood there is very good as a large part of Venezia is off the mainland. It can be expensive though.
Never been to Japan ... it's on my high priority list ... but have been to Italy several times. If you are into art - go, if you are into exquisite food - go. I reccomend Verona, Venice, Milan and Rome. Venice is my favorite once you get in a semi seculeded spot away from a lot of the tourists. The language is not much of a barrrier because (like a lot of Europe) most people are willing to speak English once they see you are not from there ...
Yep. Stay in your bedroom OP. It's a big bad mean world out there. You'll be safe and comfy and no one can hurt you.

Been to both even though I was in Tokyo for a day.
That being said I'd go to Japan BC of my lack of knowledge, but also I'd go to Italy BC I know how it is. Travel to southern Italy first though. Its hot, beautiful and cheap
