They act like the women of tip drill didn’t become willing participants we might as well shut down all the strip clubs and porn sites too why we at it
The card shyt took Tip Drill to a horrible place ..people wouldn’t even mention it if it wasn’t for that ..it is what it is
I’m not religious neither am I spiritual but I am 100% convinced that the black man is god & this is some kinda spiritual warfare to eradicate us
Nothing else makes sense to me you have black homosexuals being murdered in cold blood by white gay democratic fundraisers and somehow straight black men are being targeted? Terry crews sexually assaulted by gay white men and somehow we are being targeted? How are we being blamed for that fakkit Jussie being attacked by two MAGA cacs? How are we being called ******s by black women & men openly on social media and it’s allowed and isn’t considered hate speech? Idk it’s getting spooky out here
How so?![]()
Simple.
"It must be your ass, cuz it aint your face."
I think people forget this line when it comes to defending Tip Drill.
In the first few seconds of the video. The women lined up to greet the men, turn and present their asses at the same time for the men to choose.
Sure, were there women shaking their ass in the video? Yeah. But context matters.
In Tip Drill, the whole video is strictly for the male gaze, male audience. Women are merely (lyrically implied faceless) props. *Cue the infamous credit card scene*
Twerk: also has women shaking their ass for a contest. Women celebrating each other. Women having fun. Now, I hear some of the judges in the contest were men, but they werent present in the video.
The video started with a women calling all women to show up, show out, to get flewed out. And all through the video we see women having fun enjoying each other.
Tip Drill, couldve possibly saved face by having a verse by a female rapper who flipped the table like a couple other famous songs. A lil Kim or Trina to level the playing field. But it didnt.
Tried to get through a few more secs of the vid. Nah its just straight up porn and objectification. How can yall seriously compare this to Twerk? The song is named after a dance and there are girls on the beach and in the water doing the dance appropriately wearing bathing suits, sometimes more for a dance contest.
Whats the context for Tip Drill? The video is basically the insides of a brothel.
Thats you. You still missed the point. The video isnt made solely for sexual stimulation. The women arent in the video solely to be seen and to stimulate men. (The male gaze).I feel where you coming from.
But at the end of the day it doesn’t matter if it's Nelly or if its Cardi B. Its STILL scantily clad women shaking they asses.
I can’t STAND Cardi B, she’s trash, and the only ONLY motivation for me to watch her video is to see the scantily clad sistas twerking in the background. And any heterosexual man watching the video is gonna do the same thing, so the whole “Sins Of The Male Gaze” thing is a moot point when it all boils down to the fact that men like looking at half dressed women and Cardi B shot a video with the express
purpose of showing off half dressed women making suggestive and sexual gestures
Their goal is to make everybody to be part of the lgbt movement. Acceptance of their lifestyle as an outsider is not enough, they want to bash all straight dudes to conform and bow down to them or be eliminated by force.
Thats you. You still missed the point. The video isnt made solely for sexual stimulation. The women arent in the video solely to be seen and to stimulate men. (The male gaze).
The women in the video have a voice. They arent props for male entertainment. That's where the idea of this video being empowering comes from. The women are practicing their autonomy over their own bodies.
The difference between Twerk and Tip Drill where people are saying well the women in both chose to be there is the messaging. One is fun and showing off talent. The other is girl you are only good for your body.
The problem seems to be that yall cant seem to understand female perspectives and that you think everything must be about you.
Women shaking their ass must be about men. Women showing skin must be for men. It can't be about fun, pride, showing off, showing out, competition, etc. Even if people did something for fame and money, it doesnt necessarily need to be about men.
I dont blame yall. Yall used to it being one way. Plus, context and subtlety aint really a strong suit for a lot of men.
Nah the goal is to create false lines of division in the black community and take the conversation away from racism and shift it into other things. With this division going on they know we can't be united for any cause. Look at BLM... say what you want but there was unity around the cause. The powers that be don't want another movement poppin off where we're on the same page.
They just struck gold going with the bw and LGBT community because of how vocal and dramatic they are. Easy targets.
I dont blame yall. Yall used to it being one way. Plus, context and subtlety aint really a strong suit for a lot of men.
