What are these views?

I think there's a couple different ways you can look at it. Take just a few different topics, whether it be guns, taxes, or immigration for instance. If you're pro gun meaning you believe in the right to own firearms for recreation and to protect yourself and that any additional laws infringe on that right and are useless anyway, that's a conservative point of view. If you believe in lower taxes and in addition less government sponsored programs that your tax dollars fund and you consider unnecessary anyway, that's a conservative point of view. If you looked at the situation that developed on the border with the "migrant" caravan from Honduras, and viewed it as really illegal immigration and a threat to American citizens in various ways, that's a conservative point of view.

Then another way of looking at it is considering it's left leaning types that vote Democrat, ask yourself whether Black folks views align on things like gay marriage or transgender rights?

As a younger cat, I can easily admit there was a fear.

Now, I don’t give a damn. I know with all the work I’ve put in, and continue to put in for my community that no ones words could take that away. Plus, as I’ve gotten older, I’ve realized that we’re all different.

Plus, as I’ve aged, I’ve realized I don’t really fit into any of these white man political groups. For example, while i do believe in personal accountability, I also know that the situation that were in is mostly done by white supremacy. So, while I may believe in personal accountability, I also believe that this country needs to implement a UBI and New Deal policies for AA’s. That stretches political lines, which is why I can’t consider myself apart of one particular party.
I can roll with all of this esp personal accountability. The only thing I'm kinda torn on is if you feel white supremacy is the reason you're kinda saying we are stuck and that I disagree with that personally. We all can't ball but hell all whites aren't balling either. I think with the information out here now the rationale for adults not making it is bullshyt imo. I'm willing to give kids a pass because of lack of money and the like but once you're an adult I can't excuse that no more. That's when your future is up to the choices you make imo. Overall I think we are on a similar vibe with differences here and there. Peace

Honestly speaking most Black people are at minimum social conservatives, it's just that most vote Democrat because Republicans seem at time not only disinterested in issues in the Black community but seem to derive the idea that the Black communities woes are self inflicted.

Maybe this is a Philly thing lol but your post describes me 1000%. The I don't share all the same beliefs with my family and friends so how can I be down with complete strangers is super true. Hell I think that's why I end up going back and forth with so many on here and irl because of how I am. If I'm not agreeing with my closest people how you think I'm going to come at cats I don't even really care about?

Exactly ...yea well Philly isn’t really an “outsider” friendly place folks stick with their neighborhoods and takes to know someone to get in other circles

But yea man i never understood how people can Just be like yea all 1 million of us share the exact same beliefs and opinions .....how sway

Truth be told Black people's views often align more with conservative views than liberal. If not for the Steve Kings, and history of Strom Thurmond types, Southern Strategy, etc., Black folks would be more inclined to vote Republican.

If the republicans weren’t openly racist bigots the dems would never have a chance of winning. They should mask their racism like the dems do. I would never vote red though.

Man a lot of blacks are low key conservatives. Its just finally coming to the surface

I don’t think they’re necessarily conservatives they just agree with some of their views. Gun stance is an issue I know a lot of black lean right on, a lot of us also aren’t feeling all this weirdo shyt that people want us to accept.

The Keystone State
I'm not a conservative.

I'm a self described liberal.

I vote Dem 95% of the time.

I can criticize Obama and Hillary and Joe etc.

Trump is Trash and I'll never vote for him.

I've never bullied a Black conservative, but I will clap back when they come for black folks in general.

my biggest problem with black conservatives. There are plenty of black folks out there with liberal views who constantly criticize the Democratic party or didn't vote for Hillary.

Never met a black Conservative who didn't defend everything Trump did.

Maybe it speaks to the culture of both parties. Republicans tend to go all in, ride or die, while younger Democrats seem to be more rebellious

^^^ 100 percent truth

black liberals are also willing to call out institutional racism while black republicans just boot lick

Cause I’m tired of certain political parties trying to bully people

If they’re conservative they’re conservative. Just like with religion and diet mind your own business. If you don’t agree keep it moving. People type shyt on here regarding politics I don’t agree with all the time and I scroll past it without attacking their character or blackness
You really don't understand why people view black republicans are c00n sellout uncle toms?

Interesting post, and ultimately why I’m currently analyzing my voting practices.

As a man who leans conservative on most issues, and would not be described as liberal at all, I continue to vote Democrat. I’m not and haven’t been catering to my interests at all.

I wish there was an option for me, but in reality, not voting or finding some 3rd party to vote for is my only option.

Of course.

What is your point? Everyone is failing the Black Community.

But, the "Black Conservatives" in the video -- don't even have ties, connection -- nor do they care about the BC.
How do you even know that? You’re just making shyt up

Brainwashing.

How do you know that? :snoop:

You judge black conservatives off the most extreme cases, that’s like judging black liberals off of the hardcore feminists and pro trannies crowd

The answer is really simple...

Our own party and taking over at the local level.

People so worried about the Presidential race (which is just a popularity contest :mjlol:) and don't even know who their local judges are, who their assemblymen are, etc. etc.

If you have children, you should care more about the superintendent of your kids' school district than the damn president.

If we started with winning local offices, we could disrupt the two party system. People want the President to "cater" to them, but really you could make change in a very real way in your life if you had local representation.
