Video is dope.

No it's not. It is what it is. :manny:

That's enough Illmatic my nikka

MJ ain't keep pushing Thriller 20 years later

Kanye ain't push the College Dropout a decade later

If Jimi Hendrix didn't die he wouldn't have pushed Electric Ladyland 20 years after it came out

A lot of artists do reissues. There's demand for it, so he's doing it.:manny:

I feel you but the point should of been for NaS to try and re-capture that era. Like NaS just sitting down watching TV? Really? he didn't even rap the bars. "NaSty" had a better "Represent" vibe than this. Again I know this was just NaS reaching out to his fans so I can't even really knock it but this just doesn't fee like an "ILLmatic" video. The point again should of been to capture that essence.

Eh see that would have been expected. Watching the movie where the sample came from and then juxtaposing the scenes in there with what hes rapping about New York at least is a more interesting attempt

Like I said, the execution was off cause they made it low budget but I cant front on the concept over just having him on some army lining jacket standing on the corner type shyt. Plus you know motherfukkers would have had a complaint about that too: 40 year thinking its 94, milking the Illmatic swag again etc etc etc

Anyways, more footage from BTS

yea nothing much to the video...reminds me of how Nas raps nowadays. Lazy no hunger. But he's still one of the best there ever was.
I dont know about lazy and no hunger, LIG and the lead up to it proved otherwise, ditto with the recent rocko collabo.
