Goldberg dont leave his fukking driveway without big money on the table and you think that shrewd dude is coming back to get squashed? no way u been watching a long time. GBerg one of the hardest people to negotiate anything with. That dudes isnt comng back to get his ass whooped and leave.

 yeah ok man

You say this as though it's not common knowledge that Goldberg loves him some Goldberg.

Dude wanted his wife and son to see him work and to be compensated well for it, that's where it'll end though, he'll have brief hope spots in the match and get beat clean like everyone in the path of Lesnar has in recent years then get a HOF induction next year.

He wants his son to see him get his ass whooped? Yeah makes sense. I guess most men want that. He'll explain to him before the match that "Daddy has to do business." And pat him on the head.

I don't think he's gonna win. But he's not getting squashed. I could see it being a false finish interruption.

I'm not in disagreement with you on your principle points at all

For Goldberg standards it'll be a squash unfortunately

I'm a fan of a feel good story and I actually like Bill. He's very fan friendly on Twitter. .. so I'm not in opposed to Goldberg winning again IF done right. But you've seen how they book Brock and Bill is very much the last flickering flame of WCW in Vince's eyes.

I always heard that despite all the signs leading up to it, Vince was STILL shocked that Toronto cheered Hogan over the Rock.

Sometimes he just doesn't get it, which is odd.

Vince is out of touch and has been for quite some time, and last night's debacle is a first class example. And since everyone in his immediate circle is a yes man, poor segments like last nights, are going to continue to get greenlit until he passes away. Last nights reaction should've been a no brainier. It may sound harsh, but that's what I honestly believe.
"Vince McMahon is gonna make money despite himself. He's a millionaire who shouldn't be a billionaire. You know why he's not a billionaire? It's because he surrounds himself with gland handing, nonsensical douchebag yes men like john Laurinatis whose gonna tell him everything he wants to hear." I hope you don't expect it to get any better when nipple h takes over once her old man kicks the bucket :punkcomeon:

:patrice:Vince has been screwing up Wrestling 101 stuff a lot lately, brother.

  • Dropping angles without explanation like it's 1999 WCW
  • Burying guys who got over and moved merch
  • Forgetting that every town is a different crowd
  • A vanilla midget division with purple ropes
That's been par for the course for about 15 years :flabbyvince:

Brock Lesnar is the second most famous person from Minnesota ever. This idea was beyond dumb.

This is what people who are mad at crowds for ruining the product don't get. You can't just wake up and decide to completely alter the perception of thousands of people just because it fits a narrative. The BEST you can do is nudge it in a slightly different direction.

Brock Lesnar is one of the most popular athletes on the planet. Goldberg is an old wrestler who hasn't been relevant for 12 years. In what world are people in his home state going to boo Brock Lesnar? How many people in that audience are lifelong Brock fans who are getting to see him live for the first time and forked over that money JUST to cheer him?

You really come together to formulate a plan for a show and just think "Yeah, we'll have them chanting for Goldberg!"

And some of ya'll want to get mad at fans for it?

:camby:
Nah nah it's the smarks fault
