Vince built the business. he wasn't just some businessman who only cared about profit on each and every single thing. he kept prices affordable for parents to bring their families to all shows regardless if it was a TV event, house show, or main PPV. you could usually get affordable tickets.

and guess what? the profits still came without having to try and rip all of your fans off for every last penny. he also kept all of those stupid ads off of the ring.
There's some things Vince was very adamant about and keeping the ring clean was one of them, it was a mix of tradition and he thought it looked tacky.
Let's not forget something. WWE was, more often than not, terrible under Vince's direction. He had two boom periods but more terrible years than those combined.

Vince had his own vision for wrestling and thats why often it was terrible. WOAT sense of humor, morals and business sense (everything else he touched quickly went to shyt). The reason those tickets were low was not because Vince gave a shyt about families. Vince wanted as many people to view and appreciate his vision as possible because he is a fukking narcissist. Vince HATED his own fan base. Don't kayfabe me, Shapiro.
1. The WWE was his baby and it became a multi billion dollar empire under him.

2. You just described every promoter in wrestling.

Which means nothing in the grand scheme of things under the concept of capitalism and infinite growth.

They're gonna milk the cow for all its got while its hot. I dont really see how damn near every show is packed these days tbh. Where the fukk nikkas getting all this money from?
Also, you have to remember, a large amount of ppl are attending shows for the first time.

Therefore they will pay the ticket prices

Him pushing a couple people does not equate to a better product :yeshrug:

The Lana/Rusev/Bobby love triangle, Charlotte’s therapy sessions, Shorty G, Lashley’s crossdressing “sisters”, etc were all Vince’s shyt. I’m good with never having things like that again.
