The argument is asinine. Every state on the Atlantic coast is in the East. So yes, Virginia is in the East, it is also in the South. You can have more than one designation at a time.

Some of y’all obviously haven’t been to VA. Northern VA (Arlington, Alexandra, Fairfax county) definitely feel more like the east coast.
