WrestleMania Night 2 Review (From the Arena)
Alright, here’s my take from being there live — overall, this was a super fun Mania and the energy in the arena was way higher than night one, The show flew by.
Aside from AJ vs Logan and the women’s tag (which didn’t really hit with the crowd), pretty much everything else landed exactly how fans wanted. People popped for Becky but I just didn’t care for that match
Honestly, most folks showed up for one reason: to see Cena win #17. They didn’t care how it happened — they just wanted that moment, and they got it.
As for The Rock… yeah, people weren’t even that mad about him not showing up. But you’re right — bringing out Travis Scott instead was not the move. They had to know that wasn’t going to go over well. The rock was on some bullshyt for that one. No excuse. Even if he shows up tonight it won’t be the same.
Now, I can’t give this a perfect score, and that’s 100% because of the group sitting near us both nights. Constantly getting up to pee or jerk each other off or whatever. The shyt was annoying.
Back to the show though — I know some of y’all love dunking on “casuals,” but let’s be real: these people spent thousands on tickets, travel, and merch. That’s not casual behavior. They were just as hype (if not more) than a lot of so-called hardcore fans. We can’t throw the whole show away because cena isn’t great in the ring because we already knew that that’s one of the reason we never liked him. Or because the rock didn’t show up most of the matches were still good and IMO the right person won and his post press conference was perfect
Dom was super over — even at the post-Mania show. It’s time for him to kick off that feud with Finn and boot him from the Judgement Day already.
Also — I know some folks are upset Joe Hendry got squashed or whatever, but come on. He had a WrestleMania moment and he’s not even on the roster. That’s a win. Way bigger deal than a 10-minute match.
