Vol. 2 Hard Knock Life doesnt deserve the hate it gets. The album is a classic.

What hate ya talking about?

Vol.2 is one of the most overrated albums ever. It's more of a compilation (with 3 previously released hits) than a solo album. The features and production were generic. Lyrically, vol.2 wasn't even in the same league as Vol.1.

Easily my least favorite Jay album

All those Vol. albums were commercialized garbage, Vol. 1 was the only one that was halfway decent, Its a shame because dude would have truly been the GOAT if he wasnt in it for the money; soldout way too early in his career and his discography suffered for it. Reasonable Doubt is still top ten album in the genre though

It's not even the best of the Vol 1-3 albums. That belongs to #3, which I think is truly underrated

I wouldn't call Vol. 2 a classic but it was a good album. It had too many lackluster songs to be a classic imo. Vol. 1 was a classic and definitely better. Vol. 3 on the other hand... :scusthov:

The album is prolly camels most commercial record... But it also has a bunch a classic jay-z shyt... This album did change him tho...

He sold 5 mill n focused on commercial beats n simple lyrics afterwards.... It still his most sold album to this day....
