How you figure Bird is over Kareem breh?

:comeon:

Bird turned his franchise around thats why i rate him so highly to be honest.
Took a 23 win team to a 61 win team in his first season taking them to the ECF with the only difference really being his presence.
One of the best scorers to every play, excellent post game, excellent outside shot and midrange. Excellent passer as well, supreme court vision, damn near unguardable in his prime while not being a liability totally on defense.

I like Kareem took the mantle from Wilt and probably the last true purely dominant center, although a case could be made for Moses, Hakeem too finesse for my liking. I just don't think I could put him in the ultra elite category because he showed he couldn't elevate his team. He had the benefit of his first title being the sidekick for Big O. When he got to the Lakers, he couldn't elevate them and make the team better than the sum of their parts like a Bird , Magic, or LBJ (imHO) which is why I generally don't rate him in the top 5. I do have him over Bill Russell who I think is underated. I typically will have Kareem in the 7-8 spot

Again you're deflecting. Wilt can be argued for that's fine. This threads about lebron and mj though.

Yeah a wing player has a higher ppg than a center, think about that. That tells you how good mj was. And while mj could make 3s, he wasn't jackin up 3s.

Again 3 of your top 5 say mj the goat yet you got them over mj. So even they don't believe you.

It's obvious you didn't watch mj from the jump or else you'd be agreeing with magic, bird, etc.

I've seen MJ which is why I know he isn't the be all end all, sorry if you feel that way.
Again I said Wilt is the Top, my #1, LBJ will probably never hit that level and knock him off, but LBJ's body of work, his taking those garbage Cavs through the Pistons to the Finals is a tremendous achievenment that I rate him on highly, thats something MJ could have never done. The coming back from 3 - 1 down to the 73 - 9 GSW "greatest team of all time" is what got him over Magic and Bird for me, the elevation of team mates, total ability as a player in terms of facilitating, defensive range and effectiveness in doing so, as well has his ability to score when he has to, even though he clearly prefers not to, thats what got him over jordan for me, when he took GSW 2-1 2 years ago,

Lol gsw greatest team of all time? Yeah you a Pom. Down 3-1 and took a draymond nut punch and bogut gettin hurt to come back. Oh and Kyrie ballin.

Score when he has to, like scoring 8 points in a finals game and losing a finals series lead to dirk and Jason terry?:mjlol:

It's your opinion and if you like wilt fine but just know the vast majority of players coaches just people in general who've watched mj play know he's over lebron.

Them excuses keep coming out on LBJ why. Oh Kyrie ballin, so they didnt need those back to back 40 games from LeBron or the block or his defense right? LOL

Yeah he lost to the Mavs, he lost to the Spurs in the finals, so what, you don't win them all and it isn't his performance that cost the teams he played on the win, the better team won.

You don't speak for the vast majority, but lets say if the vast majority use the same logic you use, they will have shown they don't use objectivity, are heavily anti-LeBron biased, and most likely dikkride Jordan ignoring the aid he got from the league.

This post is incorrect, Jordan actually played Point Guard for the majority of the 1988 NBA season and averaged 32 ppg, 8 assists and 8 rebounds per game, 3 steals per game, 53% fg, 85% ft, (That season alone, is arguably better than any season LeBron has ever had).

Wasn't even his natural position. Reason he discontinued playing PG was because running an offense, leading the league in scoring, and being the best defensive guard was just too taxing.

Also, Pippen was being molded by fire, via Jordan, during practice, resulting in his eventual ascension as the Bulls playmaker.

EDIT: oh and Chicago won 50 games that year with Jordan doing everything and a green Pippen/Horace Grant.

Nah, he moved to MVP in mid-March but using those base stars at a time where the pace of play is kinda inflated is Wack

You can't win every series but you can win every finals. Ask mj. And be the alpha on all 6.

I do speak for the vast majority. Most everyone who's watched mj don't think lebron is better.

Don't you know big o hates everyone? Lol

The best basketball player of all time according to NBA legends | Blog do Otávio

Majority is mj, including players like Russell Baylor west. Even Isaiah before changing his mind to Kareem.
Everyone got a right to who they look at as the GOAT it is entirely subjective.

He won some playoff runs he lost some, again finals talk is entirely irrelevant.

You said I'm not representing the majority when I am.

Oh now finals talk is irrelevant because Jordan batted 1.000 whole lebron has lost 4 and came up small. Ok lol:mjlol:

Prove you are representing the majority.
You are representing your opinion and that is cool, but you have no way of knowing or confirming who you represent, no one does.

Finals never have been relevant, wasn't until MJ that it became somethign that folks even talk about. I guess that is what he and Stern went for when they knew they would never get the 11 Bill laid up, so they seek to deminish the number of titles by saying bullshyt like, he was undefeated in finals.

Fact is every year you hope to be in the playoffs for the opportunity, if you lose in the first round or finals it doesn't matter you still failed.

Lol I just proved it with the link I put up. Did you not read it? 11 out of 21 picked mj, including players like BILL RUSSELL, Baylor, Cousy, Olajuwon, etc.

But this threads about lebron and mj. Smh thinking lebron with a losing record in finals (3-4) is better than mj:mjlol:

You didn't prove it with your link though, because those 21 people don't make up the majority of people with a opinion about who is the GOAT.
I see you didn't adress my point about the playoffs though, I know why and so do you.
