sure.
Wilt is the most dominant player to ever play the game. Offensive juggarnaut, defensive beast, the best passing big man in the league ever (led league in assists) did this during prime Big O and West years. owns 70+ NBA records over half of the NBA regular season records. Ultimate offensive and defensive player in one person, on top of probably being the best athlete to ever play outright.

I can't deny bill russell as a champion, the greatest champion in the history of the NBA, i will say head to head Wilt dominated Russell and Russell admitts that to this day, Wilt was a better player than him and always got the best of him when they played against each other.

Wilt had to go against the most dominant dynasty in basketball history, no shame in losing to them.

michael jordan is the greatest bball player that has played in the nba thus far.....which is amusing because at this point he is becoming the most overrated as well

every year that passes the mythology of Mike grows and grows to foolishly epic proportions....

The MJ marketing was done to boost the international audience, they made MJ look like some god with constant marketing, it attracted much more viewers than the old school teamwork 80s. He of course was the best player in the league, but the way MJ was marketed it was never done before. He was the first mega star of the NBA basketball. He had his own shoe brand, he had his own movie, those type of stunts were never done before with other previous legends. Everybody was tuning in to watch this inhuman individual performance, which birthed a new era of score first individual talents like kobe or AI who were about themselves rather than team.

Basically my problem is that the media puts MJ too much above the rest of legends, when some of them have their cases for goat title, it doesnt mean they are the greatest, but it should boost some nice discussion, something that the media has been trying to end real quick plenty of times.

Jordan just did it in the 90's... when the NBA had a bigger platform.
And a Player is poised to pass Jordan, it's just not Lebron...

It has nothing to do with rings.. it has everything to do with impact and game...
The last player to really impact the game organically after Jordan, was Iverson, and maybe Vince with the dunks.
Lebron is very popular, but he has no impact, and his ugly ass game ain't transcendent.

Its like Prince And Micheal Jackson... although Prince had more flubs then Mike. we can go back to the 80's and early 90's pop in the best Mike or Prince CD, and see why the the world stopped when they died.

In 2016, we can go back and watch a late 80's-mid 90's Jordan game, and see why he the GOAT... his game was Gorgeous...
Lebron dont have that, his game is atrocious.

The player who has both impact, and trancedent game is Curry. If he maintains his health, and excellence. He will past Jordan.
