Jordan just did it in the 90's... when the NBA had a bigger platform.
And a Player is poised to pass Jordan, it's just not Lebron...

It has nothing to do with rings.. it has everything to do with impact and game...
The last player to really impact the game organically after Jordan, was Iverson, and maybe Vince with the dunks.
Lebron is very popular, but he has no impact, and his ugly ass game ain't transcendent.

Its like Prince And Micheal Jackson... although Prince had more flubs then Mike. we can go back to the 80's and early 90's pop in the best Mike or Prince CD, and see why the the world stopped when they died.

In 2016, we can go back and watch a late 80's-mid 90's Jordan game, and see why he the GOAT... his game was Gorgeous...
Lebron dont have that, his game is atrocious.

The player who has both impact, and trancedent game is Curry. If he maintains his health, and excellence. He will past Jordan.
Not with that L he took last year. 0 percent chance after that.

Jordan could never ever do this, and if he was forced to he would've lost

Oh and there's this

:mjlol:.....I hear so much about Bron overall game and yet MJ the one with 10 triple doubles in 11 games. Bron defense is lauded but MJ the one with a 200 steal and 100 block season. And I love the "total" number stat being used. The scoring champ is chosen by average, assist leader is done by average, steals leader is done by average, etc....but I love the narrative shift to say Bron "led" in all categories with "totals".

Simply with the ring argument in addition to the fact:

Michael Jordan playing away from his natural position is arguably the greatest pg in nba history and averages a triple double.
While bron playing his natural was barely a twenty a game scorer.
That even in bron's position change away from his natural.
Bron, never produced more than mj away from his natural position.
While mj at his natural position is the greatest sg in the history of the entire sport of bball and also the greatest actual player at his natural.
While bron is not even better than the original goat player and sf in Dr j.

I will destroy anyone in the mh vs bron debate,....
If you wanna get tabled the fukk up,...just make that thread and call me to ringside in the battle domed coliseum greenhouse arena.
So, I come down to the ring and give you the table you so wish for.

Breh think about what you sayin tho....you just names Tim Duncan, Dirk, and Steph curry....most likely three first ballot hall of famers....Jordan played against Gary Peyton and a declining Shawn kemp, a lazy Charles Barkley, Clyde drexler, Byron Russell Stockton and Malone ....not trying to diminish the guys in the latter....but none of them are as nice as what Bron has dealt with. Jordans comp was wack....it just was. He's great cuz he did what he was supposed to do. But any team Bron goes to they going to the finals, even with the top tier talent of today. Plus if half Bron starting five didn't fall to injury Steph would be 0-2, facts. Bron is crazy nice breh.

Declining Shawn Kemp? That was maybe the best year of his career. Put up a career high (until '99) 19 ppg and 10 or 11 boards iirc.

'93 Barkley was Sir Charles at his peak also.

Regular Season
MJ in his career has 28 triple doubles
LBJ in his career has 39 triple doubles

Playoffs
MJ has 2 triple doubles
LBJ has 14 triple doubles in 2nd place behind Magic (30)

So I don't understand why you would even bring up triple doubles and try to compare Lebron and Jordan.

Funny you talk about scoring champ, but no one said LBJ was the scoring champ, the stat is literally when has a player ever led both teams in all statistical categories. Never been done before, not even Wilt

Some people just want to be different. Jordan is the GOAT Jordan been the GOAT Jordan will always be the GOAT. nikkas want attention.

If Jordan played in any era he'd still be the GOAT. Bill Russell wouldnt have 11 rings if Jordan played back then. Jordan would have 150pts in a game if he played against the competition(or lack of) Wilt played against. Jordan would average a quintuple double over Oscar Robertson.

You guys gotta let this shyt go. If Jordan wanted to pass Kareems scoring he would easily have 120,000 points scored.

Jordan didn't shoot threes because he didn't feel like it. Only reason Curry isn't chasing Jordan's 3 record. "Hes a better three point shooter than I choose to be" legendary quote from the God.... wait not the god.... The actual GOD according to Larry Bird (greatest cac of all time and also better than Lebronze)

LeBron is chasing that ghosts for a reason... you cant catch a ghost so in Henny's own words he's not surpassing MJ... the real MJ that even Mike Jack was in awe in his presence. And Mike had people fainting over him but got awe struck in the presence of Michael Jordan.

Y'all gotta chill before Jordan come out of retirement and drop 50 on the cavs :banderas:

Lebron will prolly go down as 2nd best of all time.

But like some have said people have been stuck on Mike for so long, the thought of someone else even creeping in on him is not possible.

But I know some real hoop heads that think Magic was better than Mike:sas2:
