J.T 'Just Turnovers' O'Sullivan, really? He was never better than Alex Smith, like I said poor decision. But I'll concede to Shaun Hill, but even then in extended play, it was shown that while he made better decisions than Alex Smith, he had a weaker arm and virtually no athleticism.
Again throwing for more yardage is pointless if you throw more picks and even in JC's best season he threw for 500 more yards, not nearly enough to justify the 10 more INTs, he threw. Put it like this if JC were our QB we would have lost the Lions, the Seahawks and we likely wouldn't have even beat the Giants in the regular season we'd be lucky to be 10-6 fighting for a Wild Card. Under the Harbaugh offense I'll take heat pump efficiency over a stronger arm. I well say this the upcoming season will etch Alex's legacy in stone, was he a mismanaged #1 draft or will he forever be a marginal starter/backup.
Got damn, read!!!
I never said JTO was better. Point to an area where I said he was better or even implied it. All I said was JTO was handpicked by Martz to come in and compete for the job. At the beginning of TC before Alex got hurt....JT was top dog because he knew the offense while Hill and Smith struggled. Smith struggled the most.
Alex was mismanaged but he's not good either. QB's are not one in the same that are only separated by good coaching and weapons. LOL.
picks suck, but so do 3 and outs. More yardage tends to mean you're moving the ball more. 9er fans have really bought into this stupid "small ball" QBing we saw last year.
