Wait, hold up. Why isn't Jason Campbell a starter in the league this year?

Cardinals - No, John Skelton is 24 years old and can only improve, he's arguably better than Kevin Kolb, so no

Vikings - No argument here :obama:

Jaguars - This team lives off the running game and a tough Defense, also, they are still trying to figure out Blaine Gabbert, they gave him an extremely talent but troubled rookie to throw the ball to, so no.

San Francisco - Alex Smith is better than Jason Campell, I'll take a QB that throws for 18 TD and 5 int over a QB that gives me 20 TD 15 INT his best season, besides Alex is 2-3 years younger and still has a little upside, also Alex Smith the the more mobile QB so no, Injuries will have forced Jason Campbell to stay in the pocket and with SF at times iffy pass blocking, dude will go out on a cart.

Seahawks - :obama: I'll give that but Russel Wilson is balling out of control and they got Matt Flynn, so no.

So no Jason Cambell has few if any places he can really start anymore.

Ok just woke up time for me to spit this ether

Alex smith career is COMP is 58%:beli: 179 yards per game :bryan: TD/INT 68/58 with a 6.4 avg

Campbell COMP 60.8 203 a game TD/INT 74/50 with a 6.8 avg

CAMPBELL Is better then Alex smith in every faze of the game

When u say Alex smith is better your either LYING or don't know anything

I'd say Fitzpatrick is barely better than those players. And I'd say some are better than him.

i dunno why cats hate on fitzpatrick, the bills don';t even have a number 1 wr, stevie johnson is a 2.

nelson is a undrafted wr who is our number 2 wr.

our te last year was picked up off waivers, and fitzpatrick was having a great year till fred jackson went down and he had to start throwing more.

fitzpatrick is a top ten qb

Oh so you only use the "players around him" argument when it fits your argument huh? fukk did Jason Campbell have in Oakland? Heyward-Bey? And his QB rating was still higher then Fitzpatrick.

He just came back from an injury. He'll get one or two more opportunities to earn a gig

:why:

You could say the same for Campbell...yet Fitz is top 10 and Campbell isn't even backup quality?

:mindblown:

Jason Campbell could probably start over Fez in NY and if I had to choose I'd take Campbell, but the marginal improvement at QB probably wouldn't be enough to make me feel comfortable at QB anyway, and that's the position Jason Campbell is in with the league. The improvement from any random QB to him isn't so wide that it's worth investing into him.

Sums up the thread PERFECTLY

stop trolling and start using some sense

where exactly should Campbell be starting right now?

Don't just come out and ask why isn't he starting..
come out and say where and why he should be starting on _______

You dudes are killing me with these threads. If you can't logically give an explanation or a reason to make a thread then why bother trolling with this racist crap?

Why isn't Kyle Orton starting in the NFL?

Orton is just as good or maybe even better than Campbell but he ain't starting

shyt, IMO those two guys are mirror images of each other. But had chances to start, both showed what they really are and proved that right now in their careers they are no more than just solid back up qb's that can come in when needed and maybe lead the team to a win or two.

The NFL is a qb driven league now, and teams would rather take a chance on a young gun that has potential to be the next brady or manning then to stay with the status quo on average guys like orton or Campbell

b-b-b-b-b-but....if Campbell was white.....

He'd be starting somewhere right now. Campbell's arm is more high powered than Orton's too, plus Campbell can move.

They are not comparable at all

The NFL is full of shyt right now with this youth movement at QB, but Orton will probably start for another team(barring severe injury) before his career is over.

If Indy called a washed up 38 year old Kerry Collins off the couch and gave him 6 million dollars to hand it off, then Kyle definitely has a shot at starting again.

I'm sure you've heard this before, but the NFL is a "what have you done for me lately" league. Lately, Alex Smith put together a very solid season. So yes, he's better than Campbell. And 3 years younger.
