On second listen I'm convinced Wale's singing ruins this. Hes even worse than J Cole at singing.

Except on a few songs like the last one where it actually fits.

I gotta make a damm thread on artist who have done Afro beats and dancehall music before drake .

Even meek had one with davido way before drake .

Shine also sounds nothing like no damm boring ass views .

Real shyt everything on this album besides maybe the latin song sounds like vintage wale or something he wouldve eventually done

I guess because he's coming off 2 back to back pro black & soulful type albums this album caught them off guard

Whats crazy is taan was literally a great album & as lyrical, profound & pro black wale can get without sounding to preachy & boring & the album still got criticized & didnt sale as well as his other albums

Im not sure why anybody wasnt expecting this type album from wale wack or not

And this shyt sounds more like more life than views

Listened to it during a roadtrip to MD, not bad cruising music at all.

Fine girl is probably the best hit potential song on the album. Sounds exactly like something drake would make.

And obviously fashion week is probably already a hit single. I've heard it around on the radio before the album dropped.

PYT is also another generic radio hit type song and the song with Chris brown I guess.

It seems Wale was set on making a mainstream trendy pop type album for his female fans instead. If the male hip hop heads. He wants some sales and $$$$$ so I can't blame him.

I don't think it dissapoints if you look at it that way.

Like I said before riding home Saturday the album clicked for me .

It's really a vibe just music for the whip or day parties .

Top down cruising music on a wonderful day .

Gotta let wale have one man he been giving us what we wanted .

I now like the album it's happy music .
