With respect to both can't knock their hustle. I've come to the conclusion that Wale is the Tyler Perry of "Hip Hop" Do The Knowledge. Best track to me on this is On Chill, album is aight too many RNB/Hip Hop jawns to keep in my rotation.

Ehh i wouldn't say that. The gifted and TAAN are both better to me.

Gifted is 9 and TAAN is 9.5 to me with Ambition being 8.5

But the streak from ambition to TAAN is the Wale "we" as the fans keep referring to. Not sure what the hell this Shine/WOW That's crazy Wale is doing.

He still shows up here and there as songs like "Sue Me" prove but i think TAAN not catching on the way it should have really fukked him up. Wale himself knew that album was ridiculous and for it to not get it's proper respect i don't think he ever really recovered from.

Like I said in the beginning of this thread he was never able to match the energy of Ambition

shyt is sooooo boring and I’m a huge wale fan .

I gotta be in a different mood for the album .

It’s not even that the songs were bad they weren’t .

It’s just sooo slow I don’t know how to explain it .

Wale should have put Black Gold on this album, I don't care how old it is, he wasted that song as a loosie.

Nobody was mad that Lupe put Jonylah Forever on Drogas WAVE, because it's an amazing song and surely a lot of people never heard it before he put it on that album
