I was restless driving from tysons to DC and this album hit right
wish the bonus songs and routine were taken off though. And the afrobeats record is dope but throws the album off as well. Shoulda made 2 albums, one for the ladies slow jam and one gritty "put on for hip-hop" type album that he seems to be avoiding for some fukkin reason

i didnt even wanna give this a fair chance when it dropped but he pleasantly surprised me. hes always been arguably the best rapper amongst his peers but im really impressed w/ the overall quality of the songs here. a definite a step up from the last album. and even tho i think he's still somewhat attempting what he did w/ shine its done more successfully here. i couldve done w/o durk wackass and the megan bonus single but otherwise i enjoyed this from start to finish.

This was a great album from him. Folarin II is really good too but doesn’t grab me like this one did.

Yeah man, Folarin 2 was a great album. I hope the numbers dont deter him from rapping in that lane going forward. Confident Wale is what we need from this point on.
