Why limit yourself to a "trade" tho?? Pick a skill, craft, expertise, tell yourself you wanna be the Lebron at whatever that is, and the money will folllow pending action...why limit yourself like that when that kinda cake is available in any industry ?

Well i was just giving an example. No doubt there is alot more money to be made

The Land of fukkery
*pulls up to dime piece shorty in the club*

*orders her a glass of champagne*

*notices her smile as I caress her hand*

*pull out my business card and hand it to her*

*she notices the title WALMART MANAGER at the top of the card*

*gives the immediate :scusthov: face*

*tells me thanks for the drink and immediately walks away while throwing said card on the floor*

Me: your loss honey

They work tons of hours, 6 days a week so fukk that. You wanna make some real money get a trade, fukk getting a 4 year degree in business just to run a fukking walmart making sub 100k... underwater welders making 200k+ and it only takes about 3 years to get of the minimum certifications. Your time is worth more than what they're paying but if thats your thing :manny:
:whoa: You know how dangerous underwater welding is? There's a reason they get paid that much.
If you don't die while working there, you're brain will turn into mush, along with some other associated health problems. Now regular welding...

Not true about degrees. I'm a general manager at SAMs Club (owned by walmart) and I started as an assistant store mgr without ever going to college. Ran a small business owned by my pops and interviewed at a job fair. 95k base 105% bonus if my store qualifies which is rare because of budgets etc....but pay is decent. LOTS of pressure though. On call 24/7
Bruh it's amazing what you can get accomplished if people see you have that drive. Experience does go a long way in some aspects and some examples it will beat out a degree. Kats push experience these days like it's going out of style.

Not accurate. Sure there are weeks that we work 60+ hours (holidays, corporate visits etc) but for the most part I only work 50 hours a week with an hour lunch everyday....so 45? Like I said earlier though, we all have company owned blackberrys so we are on call at all times. The constant threat of visits and tours are extremely tiring and can become stressful. That's my only gripe. I'm compensated well.

...In fact, the National Bureau of Economic Research found, Walmart store managers make an average salary of $92,462 per year....
...Walmart store managers are among the highest paid in the nation, with Costco leading the pack with average manager salaries of $109,000. At Starbucks and Whole Foods, store managers bring home on average $44,632 and $75,775, respectively....

Better to reign in Hell than serve in Heaven
before nikkas get too happy...im pretty sure that thats the STORE manager...not the produce manager or electronics...this the person in charge of the entire store...

for that type of responsibility....thats about right...
yea that's STORE managers... like you the top boss of the entire store.. probably take you 40 years of making 10.50 an hour to work your way up there.. plus it probably requires a degree of some sort.. which you wouldn't be at walmart in the first place if you had one

reminds me of career day in high school... mcdonalds nikka trying to tell us how much the CORPORATE mcdonalds workers get... but telling us fill out apps to flip burgers

Less then 100k to manage a wal mart. That's to much responsibility for that pay. To the average person it may be a lot but at the end of the day it's not enough for the bullshyt you will deal with.
