Again it's basic math :mjlol:

Basic math? Well let's break it down, genius. Where did you get the number 60 when I clearly said 60 hours ON THE BOOKS? That there renders all your mathematical proofs incorrect and thus worthless. :umad:

It's not basic math. It's basic reading comprehension. You failed to get the MAIN point which is that walmart employees are notorious for working more hours than they're scheduled to. Dumb nikka. :umad:

But since you wanna be Leonard Euler why don't you go head and subtract this 10 from your rep nikka. :umad:

My old boss was a real estate broker. He never worked jsut 40 hoursa week. Was he a loser too :sas1:

:what: fukk you talmbout? Where did I previously post the word "loser" in this thread? I may have thought it when I seen your name. But that has more to do with the fact you were squatting in a transexual's dorm room over spring break. :ld:

I can teach you a lot about money but there's a lot to learn and I don't have the time. :yeshrug:

Two posts in succession. :mjlol:
Lol for real man. These folks would pay employees pennies if they could. Managers show up to work with folks they know can barely afford basic necessities and still don't give a fukk. It takes a large lack of consciousness and morals to be a part of the retail machine.

100k ain't shyt with an empty soul.

I'd be more interested in the pay per hour...if you spending 60 hours or more a week at the walmart working...100K is not a good return on your investment of time at all...

I was a Store Mgr for WM until last year. I lived for that company, but I noticed that the company did no longer lived for their associates.
The Store Mgr Salaries vary depending on the store volume. I noticed some people published some numbers that are closed to the real ones but it seems that they heard them from someone else.

I'm a general manager at SAMs Club (owned by walmart) and I started as an assistant store mgr without ever going to college. Ran a small business owned by my pops and interviewed at a job fair. 95k base 105% bonus if my store qualifies which is rare because of budgets etc....but pay is decent. LOTS of pressure though. On call 24/7

For managers who needed a degree, does it matter what the degree is in? Will someone with a bachelors in German be looked at or do you need a business/economics degree?

ATL…overly
Macy's has a similar pay structure for its store managers, just like most other corporate retailers. Store managers aren't expected to work 6 day work weeks tho not until 4th quarter. A way companies are getting around paying store managers that much is by fast tracking store management through college development programs. In 5 years that graduate could be in position to run a store & b/c they would've only been with the company for a short period of time. The veteran store managers are making 90-100K AFTER taxes and before any end of year cash bonuses PLUS stock options. My former boss got a $4000 cash bonus b/c we made plan last yr & gave our management team $100 each (we had 15 managers at that time)

how old are you ? on the books ? Most managers are salary.. they dont clock in.. they either there or they aint.. they get paid the same regardless

AT&T Managers were getting fukked when I worked there...

they were the only people in the store not allowed to be union (union agreed that if a manager was bad then AT&T can fire/transfer at any time, where as any other employee can have a union rep present before any changes etc).

I was making as much as my store manager, as a sales rep :sadcam:

at Verizon, which is not union, my store managers were making $100-120k a year, assistant managers $75-100k a year :yeshrug:

Chase and AT&T though, high manager move rate/fire rate and all the store managers I knew made $55-70k at best, assistant managers around $45-55k. Even though bankers at Chase can make $50-150k a year (depending what location + how good you were) and AT&T reps were making $50-70k :yeshrug:

You wanna see some top end gets rich and low end gets peanuts shyt look at the car industry...

General Store manager = 300-400k / year
General Manager = 400-600k / year
Finance manager = 100-200k / year
Sales manager = 100-300k / year

^^ these numbers are from when I worked at a Honda dealership :yeshrug: they all told me its about the same no matter brand of car dealership though :yeshrug:

The car sales people though :sadcam: most making $24-40k / year while the better ones make $50-100k/year

My old general manager was made he took a pay cut down to $43,000 / month :stopitslime:

That sounds about right and them nikkas deserve every penny (for the most part). My local Wal-Mart manager be there all day, weekends and whatever holidays they open. I went in at 8am one morning to get drinks and he was there helping the stockers and whatnot, I came back about 1am to get some cold medicine and that nikka was there, I was like "you back already?" he was like "nah bro, I never left".
as nice as it is to see all those 000's on your pay check.

the reality is this.

if an 8 hour shift is making 40, and you're' working 16 hour shifts. and weekends, and holidays, just getting a day off here and there. then making 105k a year isnt that much.

subtract how much you've actually made with how many hours you actually worked. it your hourly pay end sup at the same spot as the guy bringing in 40k for 8 hours. guess which of you have the better setup?
