I don't think he even knew the rules.
He knew, but he looked down on them. He knew damn well that what he should have done was immediately arrest Cersai and her kids. He didn't want to do it, because he knew that that meant they would be killed and he didn't want to be responsible for their death because killing woman and children was against his honor. But realistically, him finding out that her children were illegitimate was always going to result in violent conflict. Her marriage to Robert was an alliance between the Lannisters and the Barratheons, meant to keep the Realm together. Cersai betrayed that alliance when she had children with her brother. Robert could never have accepted an illegitimate child with a claim to the throne surviving, while Tywin could have never accepted for his heirs to be killed and the reputationof his house to be damaged. The alliance would havd been broken the moment Robert found out and the two houses would have gone to war. So the result of Neds actions would have always meant war and him warning Cersai to give her time to flee was not just against the rules, but against common sense. The only thing he could have done to prevent that would have been to keep his mouth shut and pretend he didn't know Cersais kids weren't Roberts. But that went against his honor too :yeshrug:

This nikka Rob Stark is an idiot.:snoop:

You can see the exact moment that leads to his downfall.

My nikka couldn't resist that p*ssy for NOTHIN :snoop:

In fairness, that's on his mum and Theon. If I remember things correctly, he was grieving at the time, believing that his brothers were murdered. His mum gets the blame for the marriage as his understanding of how b*stards were treated stems from how she treated Jon.

She also gets blame for releasing Jamie (Tywin would not have implemented the Red Wedding stunt). You can also blame her for standing as a block to Jon getting legitimised (If Jon was viewed as a Stark, he would have be offered to Walder's daughter instead).

Also, in the books, he is only 15. He didn't make the best choices, but they were understandable to the point that I wouldn't call him an idiot.

When the Dothrakis flaming scimitars went dark :lupe:

Rest of that season was garbage. Kaleesi went crazy too fast because the show ran out of time and wrecked the build up. There was at least 3 more seasons of content they could’ve used to give the show a proper ending but the writers wanted to do Hollywood shyt :childplease:

:blessed: lady stoneheart. She has jaime (after she left cersei for good) and his big bytch captured and she is gonna make her kill him at least that where they left off. She wants anybody involved with the red wedding dead. even tho jaime had nothing to do with it.
You just reminded me when ain't ever gonna know the end of the book storyline

Tyrion’s hooker bytch Shae really not caring about him was some hurtful shyt:mjcry: he loved that hoe and I thought she loved him, but the ancient saying of you can’t turn a hoe into a house wife is brutally true:mjcry:

Her fukking his daddy was some of the sadest shyt I’ve ever saw on tv:scust:

That's another thing that didn't make sense. They left out Jamie telling tyrion something before he flees kings landing in the book. Tyrion confronting his dad makes zero sense story wise on the show.
