Man had been ignored and living in a frozen hell for years, came back home and sat in a chair under a tree during a battle and watched everyone die (got Theon's ass to get himself offed at the last minute) within batting an eye and took the crown in the end. I loved every second of watching him creep everyone out. People gone learn one day to keep their eyes out for the quiet ones, but I digress.
My only gripe was he dismissed Meera with no thanks after all the stuff she went thru dragging his ass around for years (but coli is HOH anyway so this probably isn't a problem here).
in the end, Westeros got the crazy ass king it deserved, and Jon was spared the burden of having to deal with them anymore. Seeing the BS that had been Snow's life, I'm surprised more folks weren't happy with his ending but.

He gave them an outline from the story up to the ending which they changed and they cut out so much shyt from the book they could have dragged shyt out as long as they needed. When George left the quality left with it on top of them looking for the door around season 6 for star wars
George literally been saying he has rewritten shyt based on show feedback. You see how long it's taking him to write these books now? They could have stretched shyt out for 20 years and still run out of book material.

this show was good up until season 7-8. Books are even better. Brienne was out here wiping nikkas’ noses. I will say that the books introduced so many interesting minor characters that it would be difficult to bring everyone in.
