Who the fukk says doofuses?

Ad hominem attacks in a discussion are the hallmark of a small mind, "mastermind".
I call doofuses, doofuses, you doofus.

You really made a post saying Karl Malone and Kareem Abdul Jabaar were on the same level. And you are serious. You don't deserve any real response, you moron.

Hopefully, you're under 21 and aren't some 30+ year old. There's still time for you to grow and become a man.

Become well-informed before you speak on something. That way you'll be able to actually state and defend your position instead of being reduced to name-calling and childish "you really just did so and so.." type responses.

Did Magic ever win a ring without Kareem? I get some of y'all like Mike. I am a Tar Heel fan so........but Kareem's numbers and accomplishments are second to none. We really are splitting hairs here. Some prefer Mike, some prefer KAJ. I could make a solid argument for both if we really get in to the minutiae of things. Stevie Wonder or Prince? War or Mandrill? This is more a preference argument than a clear statistical one. :yeshrug:

you can only be the goat of the generation you played in
there is no all time goat
but concerning mj there is no rationale that can sway folk who grew up at the altar of air

it gets religious for them jahahahahaa

*

G.O.A.T..... meaning GREATEST OF ALL TIME.. But you can o my be the GOAT of the generation you played in....:gucci:

Say there is no ALL TIME GOAT when "ALL TIME" is in the term GOAT brehs :snoop:

The Coli has ruined the word GOAT for me with this "one of the GOATs" talk... nah nikkas GOAT is singular... there can only be one.... if you cant pick one GOAT then dont use the acronym...

if you want to categorize and call Lew Alcindor the GOAT center ok. Jordan the GOAT SG... ok but there can only be one GOAT NBA player... so pick ONE. fukk thus one of the GOATS shyt:pacspit:

I said it before and I'll say it again, the majority of folks have MJ as this mythical figure that could do everything and had no weakness. In their eyes it's unfathomable that there could be a basketball player that could do things better than him, or have the potential to be greater

Will LeBron surpass MJ? Prolly not. Is Jordan the GOAT? Maybe so (though I'd argue Jabbar's got a case). But I don't understand why folks trash anyone who dares to challenge Jordans greatness. Kobe went through it too.

It just irks me when guys go "oh there's NO WAY so and so could surpass Jordan" like they shouldn't even try. Why play the game then? You think MJ got to be who he is by just being in awe of guys like Dr. J, Wilt, Magic and Bird? Nah he dared to challenge their greatness, and I admire guys like LeBron and Kobe for doing the same even if they end up falling short

Are we drafting with only knowledge of them as prospects because if so Jordan doesn't go top 20 and no ones challenging Kareem for the top spot but if we're drafting in retrospect of how their careers played out then your Oder is pretty accurate I would drop shaq out of the top 5 tho

This statement just proves why Jordan is the GOAT. Jordan doesn't go top 20 with knowledge of him as a prospect.... he wasn't supposed to be as great as he was but had other players calling him god in a basketball jersey. sheer determination and will to succeed is looked at as mythological because there's no mathematical way to measure it but its probably Jordans strongest attribute

:wtf: But he DIDN'T.

You can't keep giving this guy credit for things he WOULD'VE done when he DIDN'T do it.

You can't just assume that a player is going to keep his peak performance going for an extra five to seven years, just "because". Longevity DOES mean something. Not everyone CAN have longevity. You don't think Jordan actually benefitted for completely skipping out on seasons? The guy retired the first time because, according to him, he was essentially bored of the game and had accomplished to a level he felt was enough. Does that sound like somebody who was going to have the mentality to just keep his dominance going straight for the next five years?

nikkas act like Jordan didn't retire and play another professional sport... like the training and stress on his body ever stopped.. somebody posted quotes in another thread of people recalling Jordan's training regimen for baseball and they said he was training harder than the rest of the nikkas on his team (actual baseball players) albeit he wasn't that good.

If he didn't retire the bulls get that 8 peat no question. Stop hating on the GOAT god in a basketball jersey :wow:
