If Kareem played in today's nba he would literally go for 40 points per, 20 rebounds, 5 blocks a game= #1 pick
Put it like this, a old time Duncan was able still ball in today's era......Kareem was waaaaaaaaaaay better then him.
Nobody has averaged 40 since wilt. Nobody is averaging 40, especially not a big man that didn't shoot the three. A great center in the league today will likely average between 21-28 points depending on the floor spacing around him and if he can shoot from distance.
If kareem was "waaaaaaaaay" better how come he needed to go to LA? :lolbron:
He was homesick and asked for a trade to either New York or Los Angeles since he had ties to both cities.

THEY LOST IN THE 2ND ROUND...

LOL @ PIP BEING TOP 15.

KILL YASELF.

HOW MANY YEARS DID MIKE PLAY WITH PIPPEN BEFORE HE WON A RING?

HOW MANY YEARS DID KAREEM
PLAY WITH MAGIC BEFORE THEY WON A RING?

YOU SOUND LIKE A fukkING RETARD
COMPARING PIP TO MAGIC.

KAREEM WAS RANKED BEHIND WORTHY FOR HALF OF THEIR RUN.

DONT COMPARE A 3RD OPTION TO JORDAN.

Once again
Under rating scottie's value...........
Bulls won 55 games without Mike
Scottie is a top 5 greatest defensive player of all time.
Scottie is arguably the greatest all around player of all time right behind lebron.
Scottie took Portland to condense finals against a juggernaut Lakers team to game 7 (which they should of won)
The blazers haven't gone that deep since!!!!!!
By scottie's third year they were in the conference finals......by his 4th years they won the finals.

Magic Johnson said the real MVP of the 91 finals was scottie, after the Bulls lost game one, Phil put scottie on magic and scottie shut him down he rest of the series.

MJ would definitely average around 35-40 in this era

Your wrong about the point per game. Their are no true big men playing like back in the day, the talent isn't thier, even a offensively challenged player like Dwight Howard averaged 19 point per in his prime without plays being ran for him, Kareem could easily average 40 per game,
1). Plays close to the basket
2). Lack of true centers of size and talent
3). Has a unstoppable shot
4). Can shoot free throws

He is the GOAT for much more than his play.

MJ transcended the game of basketball from a guard perspective. All the eras before him were centered around a dominating big man. What KAJ was doing was nothing different from wilt or russell. But what MJ did was unprecedented and unheard of. A SG dominating the league like that, two three peats without a dominant big man. Yeah MJ is the clear GOAT

Kareem peaked at 34.8 points with the breakneck pace of the 70's at his advantage. The average pace of today's NBA team is 96 possessions per game. The 1971-72 bucks averaged 111 possessions per game. Just off that alone he wouldn't average 40. The scoring champ rarely even reaches 32 points per game, let alone 40. There's a reason that it hasn't been done in 50+ years.

I like kareem but nikka couldn't even get 10 reb for a game his last 8 seasons or so. He ate so well off Magic late in his career the second half of his career his scoring is inflated I feel he is overrated.

you really linked a site called "Nobody touches Jordan" as something credible? :camby:

he made 11 all defense teams.

the least you could do is read it breh, he makes some really good points about Hakeem and Kareem like I said :ld:

all in all the curator of that site is pretty exhaustive with his research, you can tell he spent a lot of time on it :manny:
