MMG run from about 2009-2014 was legendary. Ross especially with Deeper Than Rap, Teflon Don, Rich Forever and GFID plus the first two Self Made compilations. After Mastermind and Meek going out sad in the Drake feud they dropped off a bit but still. They just never crossed over at a super high level. Like, if you fukked with MMG, you most likely listened to a ton of rap, they wasn't really reaching the white female and hipster hypebeast crowd like Kanye or Drake but so what?

Only real disappointment is we never got a full length Ross-Meek-Wale project, those three styles meshed perfect and delivered heat every time they teamed up :whew:

They were solid and had a nice little run, but could’ve done more, plus I’ve never looked at them as a true crew in the likes of RR, Dipset, Wu, G-Unit, NL, the old Cash Money, etc. To me they always just seemed like a loose collection of random guys that happened to be in the studio at the same time together.

All those crews for the most part were a collection of guys though
