Was Pau Gasol even a top 15 player in 2009 and 2010?

Struggle nicknames? nikkas been callin him Forty Percent fo damn near a decade :dead:

nikka was da best player for only 40% of his championships(2/5 for you Kobe slowpokes) and routinely shot 40% en route to gettin those championships.

Furthermore I wouldn't expect a Kobe stan to approve of it.
:wow: At the dedication of trying to use this garbage nickname. Truly a trash nickname just like your posting

There's only been 2 times that the nba finals MVP shot below 50% with kobe doing it both times.

You should've verified the information yourself since you don believe the source that I quoted. I called you a kobe cocksucker because you accused me of lying just because I said something that you don't want to believe.

I don't get anything out of lying on kobe. He's never been one of my favorite players but I've always respected him as a great player, 1 of the best of his era/generation.

I accused you of lying because your post included information that was laughably inaccurate. You misquoted your source in a way that really hurts your post's credibility, and that's what I'm calling you out about.

Kawhi Leonard 2019 NBA Finals MVP - FG% .438
LeBron James 2013 NBA Finals MVP - FG% .447
LeBron James 2012 NBA Finals MVP - FG% .472
Dirk Nowitzki 2011 NBA Finals MVP - FG% .416
Kobe Bryant 2009 NBA Finals MVP - FG% .430

Paul Pierce 2008 NBA Finals MVP - FG% .432
Dwyane Wade 2006 NBA Finals MVP - FG% .468
Tim Duncan 2005 NBA Finals MVP - FG% .419
Michael Jordan 1998 NBA Finals MVP - FG% .427

Even the actual quote you're referring to is sorta useless. Even though Kobe shot under 50% in every game, for the entire series he still has a better shooting % than multiple other Finals MVPs. So they somehow performed better because they had one great shooting games and had other duds? Jordan in 98 had ONE game where he shot exactly 50%. Otherwise he shot trash, but all is forgiven because Kobe didn't shoot 50% in any games (though overall shot better). Do you see how ridiculous that sounds?

You're right. Kobe is the only person to ever shoot below 50% in every game and win nba finals MVP. My bad. Still th worst shooting percentage of any nba finals MVP.

Again this is exactly why I accused you of lying; what you're doing is blatantly stating false information... At this point your agenda is clear, and you're willing to misrepresent facts to make your point.

I assume you're referring to the year Kobe shot .405 and won finals MVP in 2010. The person who has the lowest FG% of anyone to ever win finals MVP is in fact Kobe Bryant.

2 of the 5 worst FG% years by a finals MVP in fact belong to Michael Jordan (96, 98) Kobe only has 1 of the worst. So I still fail to see where this is ultimately relevant.

I haven't lied about anything. I made a mistake and admitted it. My point hasn't wavered and remains that unchallenged by you or anybody else. Kobe is statistically the worst shooting nba finals MVP in league history. He's the only guy to win finals MVP while shooting sub 50% for every game. He has the record for the most missed shots in a finals.

I don't highlight those facts to hate on kobe. The point is to refute the narrative that he carried those lakers teams due to a lack of help which the thread starter tries to make in a bytchmade passive aggressive way.

Instead of addressing my point countering the agenda that this thread is built on, you want to deflect by playing semantics. Another bytchmade passive aggressive game. You kobe cocksuckers are the worst.

SMF and LAX to VA and NC
DRose, Bosh, and Amare

All-NBA in '09 and '10 as well

Easily a top 15 player both seasons and probably top 10 in 2010

Crazy how the weak East shyt is brought up all the time but superstar PF Chris Bosh struggled making the playoffs back then

The East is only the "weak East" when talking about LeBron, didn't you know bro? Chris Bosh apparently was some dominant force The League missed and listening to Coli Basketball you'd think this dude was unstoppable lmao...

Yup. All those guys can function and thrive as #1's. They are better players than Pau.

But there's no one else I would've had on those Lakers teams.
What exactly makes you think that Bosh can function better than Gasol as a number one?

I’m seriously not understanding this

He was trying to troll and got wrecked. Now he’s angry and calling people cocksucker. Broken record. Shout out mental illness. :mjlol:

They both helmed shytty teams but Bosh logged multiple 20+/10+ seasons as a Raptor. That’s pretty much it.

There’s not too much difference between the two.
I mean those are just numbers

They don’t factor in Gasol’s defensive edge, his edge in efficiency, his edge as a passer

With both guys you aren’t getting much more than 45 wins and a first round exit as a number one option. Pau anchored better teams and made it to the playoffs more times in the West.
