Was the drill instructor too harsh or is he just too slow?

I almost ended up going to Ft. Benning for basic but went to relaxing Jackson instead :whew:

We had this one female, similar situation. but 5ft 2 maybe and about 110lbs. She was weak in everything but she was actually a nice girl. I remember she climbed all the way up one of the towers at a confidence course and suddenly realized she was afraid of heights. It took us and the drills 2 hours to talk her down.

She ended up graduating while some of the people that acted tough washed out.
I learned I was afraid of heights on the 34ft tower at Airborne school. I hesitated on the towers at the confidence course too but not long enough to get noticed. I pretended I was checking my swiss seat.

Thats how it is. Alot of times you don't find out you're scared of something until you actually do it. Its important to push through it because if you don't it will stay with you.

Mf Petersburg virginia motels were flooded with trainees on Saturday nights.. .. all kinds of wildness.. young women first time away from home.. first full "day off" since basic training... first time drunk... first time everything some of em... few instances I don't care to bring up without my therapist present :snoop:

Like I said EVERY MONDAY groups of bytches arriving by the BUS LOAD for a 3 month stay. All shapes, sizes, ethnicities.. that shyt was incredible

I've never experienced anything like that in my life and never will again :mjcry:
Ft Sam Houston was the same. The Medical field attracted all types.

We didn't get passed until our 6 month of AIT and even then that only happened on a couple of occasions we had to sneak out. One dude almost got caught and he said Well at least I didn't lose This (he pointed at his rocker) He got caught drunk and lost it the next week.

I was spotted out by some chicks who graduated their course, our main problem was getting our civilains, They kept them locked up in a room only to be signed out when we were granted leave.

I didn't know other AIT's where that easy.

I got treated like you said in Airborne school and the class we were in didn't have many women.
Huachuca was cake. After the first month we hit phase V and were able to do what we wanted from 1800 Friday to 1800 Sunday. Hotels were packed. Also you could drink on base if you were 18 cause they didn't want people going to Nogales Mexico. I was friends with some the of the UAV guys who were on casual status. Once drill sergeants went to their room they didn't come out till the next morning. I would call down to the CQ desk and they would give me the all clear to go smash this chic on the first floor. Did that several times, never got caught. I did some stupid shyt there, should have had an article 15, but I never got caught.

I'll never forget when we first got to Ft. Huachuca. Got off the bus fresh off Basic Training. My battle buddy and I get off the bus, and this drunk girl walked up to us and was like welcome to Ft. hoochi coochie, if you ain't gettin none you ain't tryin. Little did I know how right she would be....:whew:

Why did they treat us so hardcore I was signal soft skill. We had Phase 5 and 6 literally didn't mean anything we were raking dirt and using toothbrushes to clean the tiles in the bathroom.

We had an inspection that we were determined to pass The Drills couldn't find a speck of dirt. The Drill white gloved it and removed the grate from the AC found a tiny dustball and said Fix your defeciencies

The only thing I can think of is the fact that we were 9/11 recruits when we were in basic the LTC banned puptents we had to rig our ponchos just so we could have shelter from the freezing rain.

What was you MOS? You might as well tell us something super classified Hell the President mishandled classified docs.

Making in rain in the barracks been there. Bear crawls on the bunks fukked up the beds and had to remake them
Bruh, we had this nasty ass white girl who knew nothing about personal hygiene. Drill Sergeants had to make the other females wash her hair for her. They also had the other femals show her how to use feminine hygine products cause she didn't know how to take care of her self. :scust:

She got us the worst smoking session we had. Her dumb ass would never fill up her canteen on run days. Of couse the DS always checked everyones cateen. She was given two warnings. On the third time, they pulled her to the front of the formation, then made all of us drink our cateens of water. Then we had to hold them over our heads to make sure we drank all of it. Then they made us run to the lister bag and fill them up again. We did that 4 times. After the 4th time, they made us do mountain climbers. All you heard was people throwing up. We had so much water in us that you had to piss every 15 minutes. Then we had a 5 mile ruck march to the training area, some people were pissing their pants cause they wouldn't let us stop. She pissed everyone off that day. I still hate that bytch and that was 25 years ago.
