Brooklyn keeps on taking it.
NYers do it just as much as the others IMO. And when they wanna feel good about themselves they just get the closest thing to a white woman without her being white: A Puerto-Rican.

Either way here's one of your NY heros with his queen. Lil Fame

One example of bedwenching is too small compared to what goes on in the south.

You seem to have a misunderstanding of northern culture. We are up front up here so if we think you are wack we will boo you. There have been NY rappers who were also boo’d in NY as well.

At the end of the day there is no top southern artist who can say NY is filled with haters and I’m talking about T.I, Lil Wayne, Jeezy, Gucci Mane, Gudda, Lil Baby etc.

You can thank Dipset for giving Lil Wayne a huge boost in his career.

You southern folks should let the year 1995 go. Some of your southern artist are getting big fat paychecks from NYC while you guys are still focused on 1995.

Throughout these past 24 years the south hasn’t even created one major label that they can willingly go and sign to. They end up signing their contracts here in the Big Apple.

If NY is such a hater city I wonder why we keep signing Southern artist to labels.

I didn't know there was a NYC major black owned label that's signing all the southern artist:russ::mjlol::comeon:

Shout out Young Dolph and the rest of the southern Artist that keep it independent and still eating good like we been doing.

Doggy I am not holding onto shyt. :heh:It never even occurred to me that the South had such a gripe about that night until that day a few months ago that i described in the OP.
And for the record, i dont really fukk with Southern rap like that. I respect it, yes. I like Outkast and Goodie Mob. But every on SOHH or The Coli who has ever discussed music with me will be quick to tell you that almost all my favorite Rappers are from NY. I always name my favorite rap acts (solo and groups) as follows.
  • KRS-One
  • Mos Def and Talib Kweli
  • De La Soul
  • Wu-Tang
  • Outkast
  • The Roots
  • Dead Prez
  • Common
It's hard for me to rank them in any order but as you can see most of my favorite rap acts are NY heads. You put a gun to my head right now and i couldn't name 5 songs by Lil Wayne or T.I. Just like it's rare for me to miss a Tabou Combo bal when they are in my town, i rarely miss a De La or Gohstface or Dead Prez concert. So if you think my comments is because i hate NY rappers you are mistaken. I just dislike most NYers attitudes towards everyone else South of PA.

Yes.

Outkast getting boo'd put a fire under the ass of every rapper, independent label CEO, Producer, DJ and dope boy who invested brown bags of money into these artists.

Had those NY crowds just simply clapped, they'd potentially still run rap or at least co-run rap instead of being a laughing stock. But of course.. they had to pump their chest and be the "NY in the house!!!" dudes.. Last we checked a Mexican snitch ran NYC.. and the South runs Hip-Hop. This, Master P's hustle, Outkast's musicality, Goodie Mob's flavor and later TI's and Jeezy's hustle and then after that Wayne's sick run.. and it was OVER for NYC.

Ain't you a Giants fan?

I dont consider you a NY hater I view you as a realistic poster just some stuff I wanted to clear up since I am a New Yorker who understands how things move around here.

For the record I’m 28 and my generation grew up blasting OutKast. My homies shared the video of the 95 source awards and were confused at why OutKast was being bood.

Right cause “Def Jam South” which is located in New York was a fantasy that never existed right?

Cause they know where to go to make money. :manny:

But that doesn’t add up. If NY is hater town how would they make money?

This is why trolls and fans are stupid. They contradict themselves. If NY was hater city these southern artist wouldn’t he excited to perform up here.

I’m sure most ATL artist would rather take a gig in NYC over Houston or Dallas any day of the week

Terrible analogy. A more accurate one would be NY hip hop heads are like black people in general having issues with white people (non nyers) stealing their culture :manny:

The problem with that analogy is that the South pretty much invented everything that made Hip-Hop possible

Jazz?

Check.

Gospel, which led to R&B/Soul/Funk, Disco, etc. . .?

Check.

IF we're just going by innovators, the South has innovated way more shyt than New York has musically. It's the genesis of Black music

Like you say?

The South is filled with black men who chase white women and put white women on a pedestal over black women.

So you do not get to say “New York is white people of black people”

We don’t willingly inpregnate our slave masters.

Dude, I"d bet money that more there's more race mixing in New York City, than the South.

I'd bet money that a higher percentage of racial mixing goes on in New York City than fukking Birmingham, Alabama

You're an idiot, bragging about white owned labels like that's an accomplishments for NYC. We have the most independent artist and black owned labels in the south. Y'all sell your souls to sign to majors up there. Stop bragging on shyt that black people don't even own just because it's located in your city. You big dummy, we been had the most entrepreneurs down here.

:dame:
At the time of the conversation
  • 2 men
  • 5 women (4 in the tub 1 sitting on the side of the tub)
Later on we were joined by more women. In the end we had a house with 4 brehs and 9 brehettes. Of which some are poly-Amorous and/or swingers. Only 3 couples out of 13 people so singles who wanna get they backs blown out or at least make initial contact all over the place.
I think we won :smugdraper:

I would of believed you if you just kept the bullet points but you went extra with the swingers/orgy narrative.
