The entire 2nd shift of my local Zaxbys did the same lol

They only open from 11am- 4pm now.
The service during those hours is awful now too because its a skeleton crew of 4 people....basically the only people on staff rn are the ones who own the restaurant.

yes and that means demanding higher wages, not being complacent with ones that don't even catch up to inflation. people in poor countries dont go to work if they can't afford bread, they protest and wild out

I agree about not being complacent.

demand higher wages AND improve yourself to get a better job

Good for them but I used to quit these jobs back when I was working them. Waffle House was my first job and everything was cool when I used to get my few hours in after school.. These idiots moved me to the overnight shift when the summer hit though. I hit them with the :camby: after I got my check and no showed on they ass. Hell I look like working the graveyard shift during the summer as a 16 year old :mjlol:

not if inflation has anything to say about it
Fax. A governments entire job is to protect citizens and that means protecting their labor and the value of their labor.

Minimum wage cant even get you a studio apartment or basement suite in more and more cities. Cost of food is rising, cost of utilities too. People are opting out of having children because they literally cannot afford even one child.

Govt needs to step in and raise the federal minimum wage, levy higher business taxes, tax housing speculation, levy a tax on any loan of over a certain amount(since that's how a lot of wealthy people spend money. They apply for loans backed up by their assets like their land, houses, or stock) and put tax on inheritances over a certain dollar amount or percentage. Increase property taxes on large homes and properties that aren't being rented out. That money can then be used to subsidize housing, education, childcare, and other things that people need.
