That was legal jargon because there is literally no way to know the actual reason for what they'd put on ink as far as a gamepass price increase.
On top of that the standard for subscription services is incremental price increases so raising the price isn't anything out of the ordinary.
That's why I shake my head when y'all make comments like these, on paper for the foreseeable future you'll never see ABK list as a reason for GP price increase no matter if it's true or false.

Yeah it was, because with all the parts that make up gamepass. It doesn't have to ever be "because of ABK" even if it act was.oh, so now it is "legal jargon".
Standard subs increase by 50% every day B.

I haven't been in multiple threads all week theory crafting and proclaiming gamepass is over or that Xbox is getting out of hardware because of clearance signs

The other reasons boil down to "it wasn't sustainable at that price"Yeah it was, because with all the parts that make up gamepass. It doesn't have to ever be "because of ABK" even if it act was.

Why would I consign an opinion that doesn't line up with business trends, is made in bad faith and based on straight conjecture or hear say.The other reasons boil down to "it wasn't sustainable at that price"
or they need to sell more copies of their games (CoD) cause gamepass isn't clearing the difference.
and with the both of them you had/have a habit on shytting on others for having those opinions.

Spend 80 billion dollars on Activision and increase prices coinciding with the release of CoD 2 years in a row.Why would I consign an opinion that doesn't line up with business trends, is made in bad faith and based on straight conjecture or hear say.
Saying this is why something happened without any facts or without it being out the ordinary is crazy.
You can feel like that's the reason prices went up, but don't tell me that's reason and have zero way to support it.
That's crazy talk.

They made these changes based on “player feedback” thoThere’s a difference between potentially more and basically all the games they make going forward they’re looking to have be multi-platform. They held a crisis event to reassure Xbox fans the sky wasn’t falling then later outright announced the sky fell. Why don’t they just say what they’re saying now upfront instead of saying just 4 games?
It’s all laughable. Nothing is changing until everything changes. One thing you can count on is nothing this corporation announces to reassure fans has any real meaning because they’ll abandon anything they say later.

I know you’re a cult member. Thanks for admitting it.Cult members
I guess the question is, was it the plan all along? or did they try something out, like the results, and add more? There’s a difference between potentially more and basically all the games they make going forward they’re looking to have be multi-platform. It's a subscription service and they all increase in price. I can't think of a video game subscription service where the price remained flat. Nintendo, Sony, Geforce, Humble Bundle , EA Play, and others all increased in price.Y’all remember when they said to the FCC that them buying activision wouldn’t raise the pricing of gamepass.
I do

Yeah, that's not my point though. It's a subscription service and they all increase in price. I can't think of a video game subscription service where the price remained flat. Nintendo, Sony, Geforce, Humble Bundle , EA Play, and others all increased in price.
I don't agree with the price hike because I don't see myself sticking with it when my sub expires in 2027. However, it's the nature of subscription services especially when subscriptions have stagnated.
