The Truth
Never had a problem with a rideshare service in America. My credit card gives me complimentary Lyft Pink so I use it all the time with no issue.

I only use taxis abroad. You can tell that taxis in America are an inferior service because of how hard cab drivers fight to keep rideshare services out of their respective cities. If they offered a more competitive service, they wouldn't need to beg city governments to ban Uber and Lyft.
What credit card

Some girls are more comfortable riding in taxis. Thats literally the ONLY time i will take them. Havent had a bad experience they're just less convenient.. i can get out of a show and have a Lyft already waiting, split payments with friends etc.. I have rideshared all over the world and never had a problem with the service itself. At this point i don't even mind the talkative drivers, they always offer some interesting perspective on life or the city itself.

where do you live, op? the drivers are probably :mjpls:
I had a driver tell me straight up that if I didn't have 3k+ rides with Uber he'd have never even considered picking me up near SE DC :mjlol: also, there's little stuff like Lyft not telling drivers they're entire route until they accept.

Brand new account? A ride for someone other than the person being picked up? Drivers got their own safety and time to consider. Hotel pickups in the middle of the night ain't for something people gonna hop up to take.

I understand why Taxi cabs got overtaken by Uber and Lyft

Besides the not driving in the "hood" part, most Taxi drivers are clueless on areas that aren't the airport or a downtown area. I remember one time I was getting out of an airport, and told him to drive me to a certain part of of a city. Dude was confused as fukk where to go and asking me which way to turn and which highway to go on. I'm sitting in the backseat like :dahell::dahell::dahell:

i remember when i first began using services like uber and lyft. i wasn’t aware of proper ride share etiquette, so i would open the front passenger door and hop in next to the driver, unaware that i was supposed to sit in the back. the few times i did that, before being told the backseats were the preferred seating areas for passengers, was always met with a nervous mix of :mjpls:and
