The question is, if you're not voting, what ARE you doing to make necessary changes in society? Voting is the easiest way to affect change. It's by no means the only way, but it's still important.
If you're not voting, contribute to/volunteer in your local community, or create/work with a grassroots group that supports policies you're passionate about.
If you're not doing any of these things, shut the f*ck up.
Your actions make it apparent that you're okay with how things currently are. You can't foster change by going through the same old routine.

I’ve been registered to vote since ‘12 but just went and double-checked bc of this thread. Had my address wrong, so I went and changed it.
I understand local elections are r important than presidential and I want to get e involved in that. nikkas don’t understand we can own bonds and vote for the laws that directly affect us here in our own cities. I’m not out protesting with mugs (bc covid-19 duh) but I’m damn sure ready to affect change.
I hella agree that if our (the black) vote didn’t matter it wouldn’t have been such a struggle for us to get that right in the Forest place. Salute
