Another overlooked fact that is that Jordans first championship came against a Lakers team without Magic.

Magic played in and got hurt in game 1 and that's the only game the Lakers won.

It was NO CHANCE the Lakers would win that series without Magic.

Worthy and Byron Scott got hurt in those finals not magic.

My fault yall.
My bad.

Yeah I got the 2 seasons mixed up.

But still wasn't Worthy the Lakers leading scorer the year they played the Bulls and he got hurt?

No problem man I figured you had it mixed up with the pistons series.

Yeah on that finals team vs the bulls worthy was the leading scorer. Dude had a high ankle sprain in the WCFs and it got worse in the finals....so much so that he only played in game 1 and I believe game 2.

Why isn't he even mentioning 6/6 and 3/7 in the Finals
Same reason why people don't mention jordan missing the playoffs early in his career or the numerous 1st exits or him getting ripped by nick Anderson and loosing to Orlando or same reason no one mention jordan getting locked up by Gary Payton in the finals *shrugs*

Brooklyn
LeBron missed the playoffs early in his career, not Jordan.
The Bulls made it with 38 and 32 wins in 1985 and 1986. Cleveland missed with 35 and 42 wins in 2004 and 2005. That's more a product of expansion I think. Back then only 7 teams total missed the playoffs. Now it's 14 that misses.

I never get why people don't hype up one of MJ's greatest stats. From 1990 to 1998 he never lost 3 consecutive games, including playoffs. Dude went to 6 Finals, never lost one and won 6 Finals MVPs that no one argues against.

Bu, bu, bu he lost to the Magic. I love when that series is used as some kind of revelation about Jordan :mjlol:
