Maybe I'm mistaken but most of the R&b singers today are black. Most of the white artists like Adele, Sam Smith, Ariana Grande'l, etc music is considered Pop music and not R&b music

What happened to this ....

We not even the face of it anymore :francis:

Sure you have a few but ...:wow:

Add on make it official :mjcry:

Maybe if black culture didn't throw R&B in the bushes in favor of shyt rap music and "turning up" then R&B would still be popular.

NWA made excessive cursing cool and had kids hiding their tapes from their parents. Cause cursing in any form by kids is forbidden by parents, even in a song. Explicit music also drives families away from listening to songs with each other.

Like back in the day, you can enjoy listening to Marvin Gaye, Earth Wind and Fire, and even Cameo with your family in your house. No worry about cursing, ratchet shyt, none of that. It made families bond together and made them stronger.

Now, these ratchet autotune songs is restricted to your homies. Not even your kids or parents can hear it.

True.

Even the Reverend Al Green saying 'damn' would have family looking sideways :hamster: .

Those were the days .... :wow:
