We need to talk about Carson Wentz and Nick Foles

I said it earlier in the year that Wentz is going to have a team that kind of has a Super Bowl hangover and it's going to suck walking into that.

Also because the team won with Foles, they'd feel like they could trust dude more.

Such a wild story arc...I’d even say if Eagles get in and Foles gets them to just the NFC chip game (not even the Super Bowl), then there need to be some decisions made.

I don't have a stake in this. I'm just saying I don't believe in making f excuses for the player with the lesser impact in the field. It's so unbecoming in sports to do that .

Wentz has completed 70% of his passes this season for 3100 yds 21 tds and 7 ints. He's gotten more efficient every season. He was clearly not fully healed this season and the Oline consistently didn't give him enough time to even take a 3 step drop, plant and throw. The coaching has once again simplified everything for Foles and called a more balanced attack giving him time in the pocket that Wentz didn't have which you'd know if you watched them this season. Foles has proven multiple times throughout his career that he is very dangerous in small doses, but far from a quality every week starter when given the chance. Any coach who would choose Foles over Wentz would quickly be out of a job.

Foles is still in his prime. Age is irrelevant

Wentz is not a MVP level player. Fukk outta here .

What he is however is injury prone.

Foles should be able to play until 35/36 if he wants.

If the eagle are smart, they trade Wentz now while his value is high. Trade him to the Raiders, Jaguars, or Tampa for multiple year high draft picks and ride with Foles as Franchise QB.

If Wentz struggle next year, his value is going to crater.

Never is it possible that both QBs are good and capable

Foles beat the Rams and the Texans with the same players that Wentz had (except Sproles). The team just looks better with him out there. He gets everyone involved and even has the defense playing with focus

I don't know about the simplified play bros. I think Foles just sees the field better and has a much better command of the offense and respect of the players. They just plays harder for him and more in sync. Some dudes just got it and Foles does.
