Duncan scored more in these playoffs than Kobe did.

I'm just saying Kobe been doing to the Lakers what you're trying to say Duncan is doing to the Spurs.

Kobe should have retired three years ago. Duncan helped contribute to wins while Kobe... just did Kobe :yeshrug: He gave us a great memory... is what it is but he didn't get the Lakers to the playoffs. He's sitting at home with a great memory while Duncan is out here trying to win another ring...I bet you Kobe would want to be in his shoes right now.

He'd take a two point playoff game with a chance to play at least three more over a 60 point meaningless game...or maybe he wouldn't because if his ego

The team structured around Duncan was much better. And before you get into Kobe's contract, 'basketball reasons' kind of destroyed that team and any sense of continuity they could've had that Duncan has enjoyed his entire career.

I could argue this shyt all day and please remember I am a huge Kobe fan and a Laker fan since the '90's.

Kobe played a huge part in this team being where it is. He should have retired after the first injury.

Back when they got Gasol, players would come play with him because there was a very good chance you'd compete for a title, but after that it was a wrap. Dwight Howard is a bytch but he bounced because he couldn't be the focal point of the team and this was told to him by not just Kobe and coaches but management also.

After that shyt happened there was no way in hell that we'd get another big news free agent. Kobe basically did what A.I. did when he went to Denver and refused to reduce his role for that team.

Kobe is a top 10 player, could be argued as the GOAT, I won't take that away from him. He may have taught players to not give up ect and have a killer instinct but he could have done that as a coach.

Did he have the squad around him that Duncan has...no he didn't but that's more because of him than that front office...I'm just saying

Thing is Kobe's woes was due to severe injury. Coming off a MVP type year.

What is Duncan's excuse? Marital affairs?:mjlol:
