That fakkit @Malta is like :francis: after seeing this thread and is left making jokes about Kobe missing the playoffs the past few seasons.

@CantStop take it easy on this nikka, b... :mjlol: it's hard seeing the GOAT PF looking :flabbynsick: outchea.... :pachaha:

I know this thread is for trolls, but watching the game it doesn't appear he belongs out there.

And I'm not sure the comparison of the late years of Kobe and Duncan are comparable, because while one has had to try and carry a franchise in old age and broken down body without a supporting cast, the other has been able to be a role player for at least the last 5 years(if not longer) on a good-great team with a HOF coach.

People forget about Kobe's MVP year before his major injuries :wow:

At 36:wow:

If it wasn't for fakkit ass Pringles and Dwight Coward, Kobe wouldn't have had to play like 48 minutes a game at that age just to make playoffs:wow:
So this guy has been playing high level competition basketball for 23 years (4 in the Acc)

Muthafukka scores a duece at 40 let me repeat 40 fukking years old and you really expect people to criticize.

Kobe stans are so pathetic if this shyt ain't even a debate and Bean is the G.O.A.T.(Go outside if you really believe this dumb shyt):mjlol: and the best of his generation

Then why this dude Duncan dikk always on Stanley's breath.

edit: For the new Kobe stans who just popped in as usual

It's almost as if each basketball game is a completely unique occurrence and that the stochastic nature of a 100-game season will lead to such anomalous results...

I could argue this shyt all day and please remember I am a huge Kobe fan and a Laker fan since the '90's.

Kobe played a huge part in this team being where it is. He should have retired after the first injury.

Back when they got Gasol, players would come play with him because there was a very good chance you'd compete for a title, but after that it was a wrap. Dwight Howard is a bytch but he bounced because he couldn't be the focal point of the team and this was told to him by not just Kobe and coaches but management also.

After that shyt happened there was no way in hell that we'd get another big news free agent. Kobe basically did what A.I. did when he went to Denver and refused to reduce his role for that team.

Kobe is a top 10 player, could be argued as the GOAT, I won't take that away from him. He may have taught players to not give up ect and have a killer instinct but he could have done that as a coach.

Did he have the squad around him that Duncan has...no he didn't but that's more because of him than that front office...I'm just saying

Can't even agree with you here wholeheartedly because your stance that he should've retired three years ago is based on him getting hurt carrying a team to the playoffs. On a team where they landed free agents (Nash and Dwight) who didn't pan out. Meanwhile, Duncan's load to carry was a bit lighter so his body isn't exerted in the ways that Kobe's was.

The narrative that he didn't have the squad because of him isn't necessarily true because they had the squad while he was healthy and their inadequacies is what lead to him getting hurt.

Duncan scored more in these playoffs than Kobe did.

I'm just saying Kobe been doing to the Lakers what you're trying to say Duncan is doing to the Spurs.

Kobe should have retired three years ago. Duncan helped contribute to wins while Kobe... just did Kobe :yeshrug: He gave us a great memory... is what it is but he didn't get the Lakers to the playoffs. He's sitting at home with a great memory while Duncan is out here trying to win another ring...I bet you Kobe would want to be in his shoes right now.

He'd take a two point playoff game with a chance to play at least three more over a 60 point meaningless game...or maybe he wouldn't because if his ego
:salute:
