Practice is practice and games are games. Lots of mfs look good in practice for instance Joe Milton looked amazing in camp but games started and he looked horrible

The only reason why it's a story because the head coach comes out before training camp and says it's a OPEN COMPETITION.
Then proceeds to consistently give 1 player the fewest opportunities. And it dragged out all summer.
And when the was the last time a player was a consensus 1st - 2nd round projection get picked in the 5th round? Only time that happened is if there was some off the field legal issues.

You misread my post. A lot of people in Cleveland have been saying Sanders has outplayed everyone at times in practice.
Yup. I wanted the Eagles to draft him in the 5th. I wouldn't mind Shedeur as QB3 behind Hurts and McGee.
Since when does a Day 3 draft pick get more opportunities than a Day 2 draft pick? Sanders getting more reps than Gabriel would've been strange.
And guys drop 3 to 4 rounds in the draft every year. They're just not as high profile as Sanders.

Right ..we gotta wait til he gets reps with the 1s and 2s...however he needs to make better decisions. He had 5 sacks. He knew after the first 2 he had 0 protection and would be running for his life. He wasn't gonna look great stat wise. He just had to make great decisions while under duress and he didn't. That's the point..
