@beanz you are a clown for real.
What the hell does being in poverty in the U.S.A., have to do with poverty in the d.r.?. If your child is struggling here and just gets the basic needs such as food, clothing, and shelter, while other people around him get that plus other things, he could care less how the people in d.r. are doing if he is still struggling in a new land. I know this because I hung out with dominicans in washington heights who HUSTLED DRUGS!. They wouldnt be selling drugs if all they wanted was to have the basic needs, and send some money back home!. That area was known for drugs going way back to the 80's. They wanted to live the good life like a lot of Americans.
You are trying to give a sob story like some of us dont know any better, and you are making dominicans look like low class people who are happy with crumbs. GTFOH with that bullshyt, they want the good life just like the rest of us americans. They want police to treat them with respect. They want their landlords to not treat their buildings like a shack back home.
You are a poor representation of them and making them look bad because you are ignorant. I bet in real life they don't even hang with your ass, at least the ones who know whats up.
